After a bit of silence, I would like to post an update. The Beaver went through an upgrade with respect to the 3D model and the textures. Now everything is sharp and crisp Here comes a picture of the new cockpit. As you can see, I removed the GPS as the cockpit looks much better without it. However, the AP stayed, because it could be handy for all kind of things. More pictures will follow soon. The cabin was also re-done and currently we are working on the glass textures. After that the exterior model will follow with some nice crisp and detailed textures. The control yoke was hidden on the picture above, via a clickspot. This way you will be able to access the switches more easily. I hope you like it and stay tuned for more updates very soon!3 points

Cheers, it means alot I couldn't have done it without your Sketchup to x-plane tutorials. It is a very nice part of the world, I guess you are going to have to make a virtual flight round Portsea.1 point

Here's a tip or two. 1. Don't put the same big headline banner as your sig on every fake account. 2. Change your gender from female to male. There aren't that many 15 year old girls into flight simming, and two 15 year old girls registering in a week? Hmmm 3. Change your username to something not plane-related - B737user, A320fan, 777been-caught-out. Get the picture? Call yourself Nicolas or Dave or Gordon Shumway or something, you'll blend in. 4. Learn to spell. Both you and Erik/Patrick can't spell "liveries" properly. In fact you both get it wrong the same way. 5. I may not be the sharpest tool in the box, but if I've rumbled you, then you can bet the more intelligent ones here will have done, too.1 point

Hi, Folks, As I'm sure many of you have noticed we were offline for almost two days. I certainly apologize for the downtime and inconvenience involved with this. The short of this is our server has a RAID-10 setup (four hard drives, two of which are for mirroring/backup). In a rare event, not only did a production hard drive fail, but a backup drive failed at the same time. The RAID controller was also shot, which we believe to be the primary cause in this. As a result, our "live" backup of the websites were lost entirely. That said, we do snapshot backups of our server data every evening and place these backups on an entirely different server. Because of this, we have lost about only hours worth of posts on X-Pilot (very minimal), but that's about it since the snapshot last backed up was less than 24 hours prior to the server crash. In the grand scheme of things this is very minimal after what happened, and most of you won't notice anything missing at all....just a few posts from the day of February 23rd. Because of the nature of the failure and having to transfer the backup from our offline backup server to our new server, this process took quite a while to come back to life. I want to personally thank all of your for your patience as we have worked tirelessly to restore services. Blue Skies! -Cameron1 point
