  3. BUR-LAS via VNY9.DAG.CRESO3 (this is the I-5 flight in the PilotEdge Training Program (also available on VATSIM). The video serves as a tutorial for the I-5 flight, but also a demo of the JS32. The JS32 is a lovely airplane, well worth the purchase!

  4. See, the reason people believe that the world will end is because of how they misread the long-count calender. The calender consists of several digits, the largest being a b'ak'tun. at the start of the mayan long count, it read 13. 00. 00. (i think) and as the time went by, it slowly rotated, to 13. 00. 01, 13. 00. 02, much like the speed selection knob on the 727. in any case, this system mean that eventually, the counter would read 13. 00. 00 again, which is today that is why the mayans celebrated or made big news of this day, because it would be the day the long count calender reached the 13th b'ak'tun. so let's all celebrate the resetting of the Mayan long count calender

  6. What I don't get is, if the Mayans were so fappin good at predicting the end of the world, how come they didn't predict the end of their own civilisation???

  9. I will!! Read the manual. Page 59 in teh copyrights: "This plane is not certified by Bae Systems and not pretend to" I am based in the plane in lot of things but xplane is not the reality. It has really great things that are like the real thing, but others that are less or over. This is one of the over. I said before in other place: In real life we have 4 hands piloting the planes. Here we have only 2. We can put a hand in a knob we are not seeing and the other eye in the front window to look outside. In X-Plane not. In X-Plane we don't have any real failure - maintenance system by default, in real life you have to take care of that. So my plane will never be the same as the real one (and that is why "not pretend to" because limitations of be seated in our houses in front a computer. I started building planes for sensations to be flying. For me the soul of my planes are not in the systems. I am tired seeing planes full of good modelling systems. You can buy any in FSX, and now comming to X-Plane. While there are people that concentrates in that only, I try to do my best there, but always i put more energy in the SENSATIONS to be seat in the cockpit. That is why I made the rain fx, fog, ice, good texturing... and want to leave the over right wing drop even is over-done by xplane, because for me is a challenge in each take off (well not so much once you learned it).

  13. Nice monitor choice but the refresh rate is a bit slow....14ms. You can get a good LCD for the same price with a 2ms refresh rate. This is important as it tells you how fast you screen will update. I have a viewsoinc that I love, is 24" and has a refresh rate of 2ms, is full HDMI 1080p HD. SInce you are going to be staring at this thing pretty much all the time you are using it you might as well get a good one Hope that helps. Slainte, Andy
