  1. So here's what's happening. The Saab is still being worked on. Quite a bit of work in the programming department has already been done on it, as well as re-modeling and re-texturing some of the cockpit that was done in the 2nd half of last year. I'll post screenshots soon. DC-3 update is in the works. Mainly updates in code. Flight model has had a few changes made along with a few cosmetic changes and bug fixes The 747-200 and -400 are still moving forward but they are long term projects and a lot has been happening on those in recent months. Don't want to elaborate on that just yet. I really want to, and plan on finishing the Hawker 4000, but it will need quite a lot of programming and an FMC. I was almost prepared to just add some kind of basic FMC, but after talking to Cameron and Theo about it, we all agreed it needs to be done properly. So the Hawker 4000 is just on hold until we can get it programmed properly. So, after making a bunch of prop aircraft, and while Theo was busy texturing the DC-3, I had very little to do, so I started work on a Cessna Citation II sometime in November last year. It's quite far along now and shouldn't take much longer to finish.

  2. No word on how the automatic submission is coming along. There's lot of things being worked on for V10.10 and I have no idea where on their plate that is. For my part at the moment, I am using KATL as a R&D airport to diversify the library pieces. I'm making new pieces all the time....mostly new facades as they're the most flexible. When KATL is finished (hopefully this week), then the next update will contain a lot of the new facades. I also have to write a blog on "thinking in facade" because using them is a bit different than just placing buildings, especially since there's not preview of those just yet. Anyhow...here's a screenshot of KATL using nothing but library pieces...no custom stuff whatsoever.... so any user with WED and XP could make this once these new pieces are distributed. Better than an empty airport anyhow. The intention is to get them in before 10.10 ships....but if not, then I'll push for a small patch update when the pieces are ready. There is lots of quality control to be done with the library pieces yet.

  4. Since you did not bother to lookup the iMac hardware, here they are: i7 Quard 3,4 with 6970 1GB VRAM and 4 GB RAM. Sorry to be a dumb Mac user. No, I won't change that. XP10 crashing in version 10 is not acceptable - which program of yours does that? Mac or Win? None on my Mac. The XP10 eye-candy is great (esp. HDR). But is it worth the ride compared to XP9 at the moment? We could start the discussion about serious simming a flight or the game-play attitude of having eye-candy first. I don't want to do that. The reality for me is that I will continue to use XP9 on my home machine (on my old MacBook Pro). And I will refrain from buying XP10 only stuff for a while, too. Sad, but thats my perspective on things. Do I feel left behind? No. You gotta go with the times sometime.
