OlaHaldor Posted September 4, 2011 Report Posted September 4, 2011 Lovely work, Goran. Just wondering why you put so much details inside the engine? Don't get me wrong, it looks killer. Quote
Goran_M Posted September 4, 2011 Author Report Posted September 4, 2011 Lovely work, Goran. Just wondering why you put so much details inside the engine? Don't get me wrong, it looks killer.Fair question. A few people have asked me that. We have a few ideas we plan to use that I don't really want to elaborate on at the moment that involves the extra objects. Also It's always better and easier (imho) to make MORE than you need and then cut back if it's not needed rather than make less now and then add more later. Quote
karingka Posted September 4, 2011 Report Posted September 4, 2011 Looks really great! Can't wait! Quote

This is the level of realism we could only dream of! Quote
Gjalp Posted September 4, 2011 Report Posted September 4, 2011 All I can think of is if the engine goes "bang!!!!" we might get to see some parts go flying around ......does that also mean you might model the internal wing fuel tanks etc???slainte,AndyNZCH Quote

Theo has already called me a name I don't wish to repeat in an open forum after he saw those engines. Edited September 4, 2011 by Goran_M Quote

JGregory Posted May 20, 2013 Report Posted May 20, 2013 Is this project cancelled or on hold? No. Quote
Goran_M Posted May 20, 2013 Author Report Posted May 20, 2013 Definitely not cancelled. But seeing as it is a very complex aircraft, it's safe to say it'll be a while before we can begin to say it's nearly ready. Quote
ss8913 Posted June 8, 2013 Report Posted June 8, 2013 Which do you estimate will release first, the Saab 340A or this 747? Quote
BWolf7 Posted June 8, 2013 Report Posted June 8, 2013 The saab may come out in a matter of weeks. This might come out in a matter of months/years. Quote
Goran_M Posted June 8, 2013 Author Report Posted June 8, 2013 The 744 is extremely complex. We literally have gigabytes of documents and videos on this aircraft and to transfer all of that into an add on will take quite a while as it will be study level. 2 Quote
Ahmed Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 Kinda awkward, but will there be and XP9 version? Quote
Benedikt S. Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 That would mean a lot of downsizing of Textures, Flightmodel, Plugins..... Quote
Nicola_M Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 Kinda awkward, but will there be and XP9 version? No one's doing anything for xp9 any more. We don't count. 2 Quote
Ben Russell Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 Or xbox360, or ps3, and those guys get multi million dollar budgets and returns... tis the nature of all things. 2 Quote
Ahmed Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 No one's doing anything for xp9 any more. We don't count. Yea, but they started devloping in 2010.. so maybe... huh Quote
