Ben Russell Posted October 24, 2010 Report Posted October 24, 2010 Damn. You guys are too sharp!Turns out that Kyler was complaining too much about how much work it takes to make a good cockpit so Austin deleted all support for OBJ8 cockpits and threw together 3 hard-coded 8 bit panels using some belly button lint and wood glue.Still looks O k on the outside though... NoutvanZon Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 WOOOOOOOW. Nice hardware bro! Love the Fokker Dutch planes FTW Quote
woweezowee Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 yes, enjoying extreme res at 2560x1440 and (sufficient) 2xAA, although of course most other settings have to be more or less modest at this resolution. FPS 30-60 with most planes and sceneries, nice and smooth. Also can't do video in xplane with that resolution and screenshots are getting cropped automatically. Quote
NoutvanZon Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 yeah, x-plane's video recorder tens to eat 15 fps. I use screenflow. also for the reason that I want to capture x-planes sound. the built in video recorder is just a lot easier. simply go ctrl+spacebar.... Quote
