philipp Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 Between '92 and '99 I got a lot of jumpseat flights on Crossair 340s between EBBR and LFSB. There was visible wear, but they were clean (Switzerland is after all the Land Of The Clean)!Switzerland IS clean - look at their advertisement for summer holidays in Switzerland 1
ozsky Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 This looks amazing! As a SAAB 340 driver in Sydney I'm very excited to see this being worked on. I thought the panels in the screenshots look really clean compared to what I fly on a daily basis (after 54000 cycles these planes get a little worn looking...)Yay for excitement! If you guys need to ask any questions let me know...Oz 1
Goran_M Posted September 10, 2012 Report Posted September 10, 2012 OzYou may very well know 1 of the pilots that is working with us on this project.Feel free to send me a PM through these forums and we can discuss things further.Goran
Big T Posted November 2, 2012 Report Posted November 2, 2012 Any updates on the progress of your Saab project? Have had my eye on this one since hearing about it. A real shame American Eagle discontinued using them; I flew on them regularly between Dallas, TX and Lawton, OK. when I was stationed at Fort Sill.

corelock Posted November 6, 2012 Report Posted November 6, 2012 Have had my eye on this one since hearing about it. A real shame American Eagle discontinued using them; I flew on them regularly between Dallas, TX and Lawton, OK. when I was stationed at Fort Sill. And I miss doing that flying. Girlfriend currently flies them, so we are looking forward to release and getting two.
pryoski Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 Corelock old mate, were there any other girlfriends of the same model where you got yours? Actually for me it's already the 'wife' model and I'm wondering if there's a handy serum or tablet available to make her flight sim friendly ... hehe 1
PWJT8D Posted November 20, 2012 Report Posted November 20, 2012 I have a question, are there any Saab's still in operation in the USA other then Lakeshore Express?
Cameron Posted November 20, 2012 Author Report Posted November 20, 2012 I have a question, are there any Saab's still in operation in the USA other then Lakeshore Express?Yes, there are still some US Air Express floating around and Silver Airways, which code shares with United. 1
PWJT8D Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 Yes, there are still some US Air Express floating around and Silver Airways, which code shares with United. Thanks! I'll have to see if I can find their routes and flight numbers.I dearly miss the Mesaba "Route Map" livery for NWA Airlink...heck I dearly miss the NWA Airlink Saabs in general!
Goran_M Posted May 27, 2013 Report Posted May 27, 2013 Tutorial is nearly done. Just to give you an idea, the first 75 pages cover engine start up and initial climb out. 4
Nicola_M Posted May 27, 2013 Report Posted May 27, 2013 Hmm, I have a funny feeling my starting the engines to the time I start taxiing is gonna cross several time zones.
Ntr09 Posted May 28, 2013 Report Posted May 28, 2013 It'll likely be a bit like the CRJ, slow for the first few times and then it will get quicker as you learn and get comfortable with it. -NR
ss8913 Posted June 5, 2013 Report Posted June 5, 2013 will this plane be available on the 'org store' when it releases?
Goran_M Posted June 5, 2013 Report Posted June 5, 2013 will this plane be available on the 'org store' when it releases? X-Aviation only. 4
ss8913 Posted June 5, 2013 Report Posted June 5, 2013 fair enough. looks like I need to buy that DC-3, also.
signmanbob Posted September 18, 2013 Report Posted September 18, 2013 I haven't heard anything for a while. Are we getting any closer to release? I don't see anything about it at X-Aviation.
Rexxxy77 Posted September 18, 2013 Report Posted September 18, 2013 There are a few new threads in this forum... http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php/forum/77-saab-340/Enjoy
