TBM930 and Xplane 12 - How long we have to wait? :-)

Hello,
the TBM is one of my favorite planes in Xplane 11 and I really hope for the TBM adaptation for Xplane 12.
Now that Xplane 12 has been released: Are there already concrete plans for implementation? What time frame for customization to XP12 can we hope for?
Thanks for your answer in advance!

Would really like to see some response to the promised XP12 upgrade time frame please.

Thanks

We never give out time frames until we're literally 100% certain we can get it out on the date.  It is getting worked on at the moment, with one of the big additions being libturbine.  libturbine is a completely custom engine model.  We'll post more information as time goes on.

In the meantime has any consideration been given to a very basic patch to at least allow the plane to fly in XP12 ?

Such a "basic" patch is not possible. It requires a bunch of re-write to even load due to the custom turbine engine model.

X-plane 12 has been out for quite a while and the MU-2B Marquise uses the GIZMO plugin and has turbine engines.  Everyone who has the TBM 900 has been anxiously awaiting the update for more than a year.  I'm sure there are others who have seen the reviews and are waiting to purchase this aircraft after the XP12 version comes out.  Is this aircraft ever going to get an update?

What's your point? Gizmo is simply software to run custom code. The level of complexity on the TBM turbine model far exceeds that of other simulated turbines. That's why it was ever popular to begin with.

Yes.
