volkerschwarz Posted November 29, 2016 Report Posted November 29, 2016 Hello simmer, i tried the ixeg today for a short flight on xp 11 beta. First impression: Worked fine also the autopilot followed the path. Only after loading, there was a gizmo soft crash. thx for this excellent aircraft. best regards. Volker Quote

Volker Yeah, from what Im seeing the transition from XP10 to XP11 is going to be pretty smooth. Maybe 2 months tops after its out of beta. Quote
Litjan Posted November 30, 2016 Report Posted November 30, 2016 Yes, our current asessment of the porting process is: Fairly quick (with a bit of Laminar´s assistance in getting some dataref´s straightened out) making it "work" in XP11. A little bit longer to really take advantage of XP11´s new shaders. We need to update the material´s properties, shaders, etc. Here is a quick view of how things CAN look in XP11 (varying levels of "shinyness"): Jan 11 Quote
Defiance_co Posted November 30, 2016 Report Posted November 30, 2016 Exactly the wording !! Luvly Jubly Tony Quote
judeb Posted November 30, 2016 Report Posted November 30, 2016 If it wasn't for the Gizmo logo, I would swear it was a real a/c. Quote
hjsmuc Posted November 30, 2016 Report Posted November 30, 2016 The closest to the real thing I've ever seen. Quote

To have a good effect with their options, you have to create a new file_NML.png like the B738 of default has... I attached some screen that I taken during my trial of XP11... 4 Quote
louism Posted December 1, 2016 Report Posted December 1, 2016 Ian, As I am transitionning back to x-plane from PMDG 737, I would like to know if you will create a new x-plane 11 version of the 737 and charge for it or if I can buy it now and get the upgrade for free later? Quote

Are there plans to apply these materials properties also inside the cockpit, instead of only exteriour? Quote
Litjan Posted December 2, 2016 Report Posted December 2, 2016 The plan is to apply the new XP11 features wherever they are appropriate and warranted. It would surprise me if that would exclude the cockpit. Jan 4 Quote
