  2. I can't seem to get this control to work. Looks like there's a power button but pressing it does nothing and the volume controls don't change anything either.

  5. Entegra PFD + MFD is blank and even when I have set the engine to run by default - the engine's not running and can't seem to find a way to get the engine to start.

  7. OK, fair enough, but on videos of the Hotstart Challenger on Youtube, as well as the Challenger in real life, the altimeter runs smoothly in climb or descent - is there anything I can do settings-wise to get them running smoothly? The actual FPS in-sim is as smooth as butter.

  11. Hi folks, I have beautiful FPS in the HS CL650, particularly in light of its complexity. However, the framerates of CPT's and F/O's PFDs are poor. Is there anything I can do about this? The altimeter in the climb, for example, is very bitty, rather than smooth as it should be. Many thanks
  12. Okay, I think I solved it. After the above attempt, I uninstalled the aircraft completely and deleted its folder in XP. Re-installed the aircraft, ensured I was launching under Rosetta, and loaded the plane...activation window appeared and I was able to successfully register it! It still doesn't appear in my licensed list, but it's now fully operational. Thanks for the Rosetta hint! I'll go close the ticket I put in the other day.
  13. I was not; I'm pretty new to running XP under MacOS, having retired my PC last year, and was not aware of that option. I went back and checked the box to start XP with Rosetta. Launched XP12, selected the MU-2 and, this time, got the activation box. After filling it out and submitting, nothing happened; the MU-2 still doesn't appear in my licensed list. I did verify that I was running under Rosetta. Maybe I need to un-retire my gaming PC?

  16. By experimenting, I found that significantly lowering the (apparently undocumented) dataref sim/private/controls/lights/legacy_luminance_spills to values around 5–10 helps a lot. It does increase the already unrealistic light bleed from the overhead lights into the cockpit, but IXEG behaves like this anyway, and those lights can simply be turned off (at least in flight). You can set it, for example, via a FlyWithLua script: set("sim/private/controls/lights/legacy_luminance_spills", 5)

  20. @Pils That did help with the navigation issues, but there were still significant fluctations in the speed/altitude/bank angle on load that took a while to correct itself.

Hi folks, When I go through the FBO and out to the aircraft, open the door, the battery is always on and the GEN1 switch also selected on, even though I thoroughly secured the aircraft on the last occasion. I have no commands, keyboard or otherwise, for either function. Is there a way of stopping this? Cheers all, John.
  22. @Pils 2 hours into a long flight I got a MAIN BATTERY OFF warning (all generators running, everything switched on) and noticed the circuit breaker had tripped. It coincided with these hydraulic values going crazy. Is it a related bug or am I doing something wrong?

In the Citation when using the TDS garmin GTN750Xi, in turns the roll bar on the flight director is incessantly twitching back and forth, and the AP is also constantly varying the bank angle, resulting in a small but annoying rapid wing rock. It appears as if there are conflicting roll inputs fighting each other. It does it with the UNS on or off. Any ideas on how to calm it down?
  25. @UncontrolledAirSpace Hi there. I have no problems with any other plane with a 530, a 430, or even a combination of the two. As I said above, even the 2 530s work together fine in the AFL Kingair. It's just the 2 530s in the 525. I've been using XP for years, and been an X-Av customer also for years :-)
  26. When restoring an in-flight save, you must do an instant alignment from the IRU Study menu.
  27. I may have found the core issue; the license check, after installing the MU-2, never prompted me for activation. The license window doesn't show the MU-2 on it and refreshing that doesn't seem to do anything. The RSG component does show up. I've uninstalled/reinstalled, and restarted the system, a couple of times with no joy on the activation pop-up. Ideas?
  28. @diamonddriller Have you tried loading up the default C172 or one of the other default planes with the G530 and seeing if it has the same issue?
