  1. Couldn't find much information online about audio issues with either the Motherboard or CPU, Updated my audio drivers but alas, no luck. I will update my BIOS some time over the weekend and see if that was an issue. After that im not sure what to do. The plane is great in all other ways - but this audio issue is really hampering it, I will let you know when I have more info, but I am not really sure what to do next.
  2. Well, it seems you are completely right with it being a thing on my end. Tried it on my macbook, and my spouse's windows laptop - both of which are working fine. Id be curious to know what OP's computer specs were as it might be an issue with a specific hardware (for me an I5-12600kf and an msi b760m mobo) those two would be the culprits of a hardware audio problem, now time to see if these have any known issues with openAL.
  3. You are most definitely right, and real life is always more important. Id be curious to find out what I have done wrong, and I will most definitely be trying it on another device, to see if something is off on my end. I do hope to solve this issue and wish you the best. Once again thank you for the information, and I wish you luck with with whatever is going on, best regards
  4. I have it partially fixed with the ftsim soundpack, most of the alerts are still sped up as well as a lot of other things, however there is no more static and some sounds are back to normal, Would really love an update on the FMOD sound system, but I understand you are hard at work, and probably don't love people like me sticking our noses where they do not belong.
  5. Having this same issue as well, doesn't seem like any solutions were made, Ill try the FTSIM sound pack as that seemed to be a fix for someone and they have a free demo version
  6. If I may ask, have you been able to replicate this problem/solve it Mr., Litjan?
  7. Just reinstalled OpenAL and no change
  8. Just bought it today and Im having the same problem
  9. May I ask How did you install the TDS with it??? Just bought it and id love to but the GTN on board!
  10. Just bought the plane as a Hannukah present for myself. I've been loving it, you guys really hit it out of the park! one thing is, how do I adjust the volume of all the sounds in the plane? they don't seem to change with my X-plane main sound settings, and I cant find a menu in the planes menu. is this a bug on my end or how would I do this?
  11. Thank you so much I wouldn't of figured that out!
  12. To preface I don't fly the real plane, so this put just be how it is IRL. When I input my flight plan, whether I datalink it or input it in manually (with all details I.E. SID, STAR, APP etc) when I select the charts tab on the FO's mfd I can only cycle threw the taxi chart of the departure airport and the SID of the departure airport. I am wondering If I can view the star/arrival taxi chart, thx for the help in advance!
  13. not exactly a solution, but what i did was: follow what this guy said (alt tab etc) than go into your hotstart settings and disable "simulate walking around aircraft and FBO" not perfect but the best I could find
