I've made some tweaks to the Simbrief-integrated profile for the Hot Start Challenger: switched backend weights to pounds for greater granularity MLW in pounds is no longer rounded to 37,999 instead of 38,000 lbs airframe still works with either unit just like before tweaked passenger weight to 165 lbs (~74-75 kgs) with 30 lbs (~13-14 kgs) per bag still allows for 5 passengers, full fuel just below MTOW (w/default taxi fuel) added a default Mode-S Code required for successful CFMU validation when aircraft is J1-equipped changed default airframe registration from N650HS to N650CL following feedback by Pilsner on Discord it looked like it didn't take at first, but appears to have propagated to wherever it needed to now, as far as I can tell added a default fin number (6050) apparently the first Challenger 650 was MSN 6050; thanks, Pilsner

The equivalent of the 135,000 lbs MTOW airframe was previously integrated directly on Simbrief through my account, but I no longer wish to maintain so many airframes, and I will remove it from my account soon. Nothing to do with scenery. You either 1. Ran out of fuel 2. Had dual engine failure, id be surprised. 3. Accidentally turned fuel off to both engines see 1.. 4. Had engine icing. But you never made it clear as to what happened.

If you submitted a support ticket, it's just a matter of waiting. I don't have anything to do with activations of add ons. That is all handled by X-Aviation, directly. Make sure you only send one support request, as more than one will result in the original one getting deleted and a new one created, resulting in getting pushed back in the queue. Confirm X-Aviation received it, by noting a ticket reference number sent to you. If you haven't received it, check your junk email. I can't comment on the situation, as I don't have all the facts. This all has to be checked by X-Aviation only. I don't have access to your orders or your emails, as this would breach privacy laws.

Since the latest stable X-Plane 12 release, it is impossible to start the engine manually from cold and dark. The starter cranks the engine, but it's like no fuel is injected (even with mixture full rich, selector on L or R, boost pump on and fuel press at 6 psi...). Starter works after Ctrlling-E and shutting down the aircraft. In the latest beta, the same thing happens but the starting process still doesn't work after using CTRL-E. Also, for some reason, fuel pressure gets to 6 psi when the battery is turned on, even without the boost pump on or the engine running... Lastly, it is impossible to stall spin the aircraft. I can somewhat stall but the aircraft will always pitch down, even while turning. Spins are completly impossible to perform. I always set my W&B to replicate the weight of my instructor and me and the amount of fuel and cargo we always put in our C23, and the real life vs sim configs are similar, so it is not a CG issue... Is this normal? Should I enable the experimental flight model? Thank you!

Did anyone see something like this also ? XP12 last stable, 733 Classic Plus 1.5.2 At some time during flight, this strange effect appears Problem 1 : blurry text on CDU Problem 2 : switching to an other CDU page open this page as an overlay to the existing on, the old page has not been removed before AND : this effect up to now is just on one CDU, the second one performs as it should. It appears I've been flagged for 'an instance of sharing'. Still waiting for some clarification on what they've seen, but there's been absolutely no sharing of my account or any part of my addons from my end, so can only guess that it might have been either me moving my PC between our houses and thus showing a different IP albeit on the same hardware, or some 'hack' may have occurred.. Either way, still awaiting word back from X-Aviation.

First time I’ve tried it in XP12. Plane is ok for me in XP 12.2 beta 6. I have yet to do a long flight but I’ll report back, but so far sounds are great, controls are great, loading/fuel worlds, RXP 530 works. Lighting seems perfect so far. I’ll try some other loacations. Only things that seem amiss are to do with the aircon and possibly the de-icing but I haven’t used it in years so that might just be me. I must say, given that it is absolutely flyable and without literally any graphical glitches for me in 12.2, I cannot for the life of me understand why it hasn’t been updated. Like, how long would it reasonably take to slap a compatibility update on this thing? I’d pay for it. Others would also pay if this thread is anything to go by. It’s a unique plane in X-Plane both aesthetically and in terms of the airlines that still use it and it genuinely sucks that we still don’t have it ‘officially’. Thanks *oh I guess technically the windshield is ‘dirty’ or has permanent rain drops on it but that’s minor to the point that I don’t even know if I can be bothered fixing it.

Challenger was purchased on 7 Jan 2022. I can give you the order number if you'd like. And IDK how I ended up with 2 x-aviation accounts it was probably because I was up at 3 in the morning not able to think straight.

There won't be any near-term fix, no. Longer term, yes, but we're talking probably a year plus.
