That is indicating the ATS system is not available; basically there are no thrust limits for it to apply for reverse thrust so it goes into a “fail safe” mode. It’s totally normal. If you do the reverser check on taxi out as per the checklist the behaviour is the same.

On the ATS mode panel in front of you?

Can you double check the volume sliders in X-Plane settings, please? There’s a simulator bug that can reset them to zero. Also, check your Windows default audio device; it has a habit of being reset after Windows software updates.
