I’m not sure why it’s not working for you. Are you manipulating the radio/com panel in the sim cockpit? As a work around you can force xPilot to listen, send, and tune the radios using its text command interface: https://beta.xpilot-project.org/#/client?id=dot-commands
  2. Not really, no.
  3. This just isn’t how the ATS on the Challenger 600 works. The TO/GA button doesn’t engage ATS, it’s not a Boeing 737.

  5. Do you have HDR enabled under Visual Effects in X-Plane graphics settings?
  6. Other aircraft don’t have as many audio samples and as complex a soundstage as the Challenger. It’s really pushing X-Plane 11 to its limit. The developer has been in direct contact with Laminar on this issue. Maybe they will address it in 12. As Ben surmises, these paths are baked into the error messages as part of the executable by Laminar’s build (compilation) pipeline. They are nothing to do your local system and can be ignored.
  7. Wouldn’t the default commands be sufficient?
  8. As you know, but for the benefit of the developer, the Bravo doesn’t have any real detents in the sense of it being part of the lever’s axis, it’s just a “gate” before going into the button section of the lever movement range. I don’t have the Mu-2 but my understanding is the “detent” described in the documentation assumes an axis with a detent in the range of the axis, as some more “professional” hardware does.
  9. If you’re talking about what I think you’re talking about then the problem is X-Plane’s shadow rendering and you can’t fix it, only Laminar can.

  11. Sadly it’s been tried to no avail!
  12. On the CDU (FMS) go to PERF then THRUST LIMIT page. You’re not setting thrust, rather the thrust limit for the autothrottle.
  13. I’m not aware of anyone having found a legal means of acquiring them for public consumption yet, unfortunately.
  14. Yes, you did. The Hoppie network is required but the Hoppie desktop client isn’t. The CL-650, as most sim addons, will connect to Hoppie directly.
  15. I always arm NAV on the ground when flying an RNAV departure, no reason not to really.
  16. The CL-650 is fully capable. But I’m unsure which ARTCCs, if any, on Vatsim are offering en route CPDLC. My understanding is there may be some facilities that will sign into Hoppie and offer PDC via ACARS, but it’s going to be controller-dependent, hit and miss. You’ll have to check their controller info every time to see (or just try it, I guess). To be sure none of it works like real life FAA CPDLC.
  17. Are you on a course to intercept the nav track?
  18. Yes. Voice ATIS isn’t reliably available on Vatsim, even if the relevant ATIS station is online.
  19. I believe so. Should be possible to map some functions. There’s commands for basically everything in the 650 cockpit.
  20. In a Mu-2?
  21. The joys of having accurate/realistic behaviour/state in your own systems/code and having to “dumb it down” for X-Plane’s.
  22. No need to suspect, their code is open source: https://github.com/xpilot-project/xpilot/blob/3ac66d40fcf00f7b5b33912ec0849457c2c10f81/client/src/simulator/xplane_adapter.cpp#L486
  23. There is no detent in the axis as far as X-Plane (joystick interface) is concerned. The position of the “detent” is the 0% point for the axis, below that is a simple on/off button.
