Interesting. Also, a side note. Disabling a plugin doesn't prevent it from loading. If it loads, it'll still affect other add ons. The key is to completely remove it.

Looks like XPUIPC crashed in that log.

Reposted from Saso "I have found the cause for the blinking of screens. The issue is being caused by the reflection detail. Due to a bug, we keep resizing some backing buffers when X-Plane calls us while drawing the reflection. As a temporary workaround, you can set reflection detail to "Minimal".

Guys, we can’t help without seeing log files. If you are still seeing problems after removing plugins, repost the log file. In most cases, with stuttering sound, it’s down to performance or scenery loading. Try loading the TBM in an area without ortho scenery and see if it keeps going. This is something we cannot reproduce on our test machines, so it’s proving difficult to nail.

Plenty to see in the log. We don't just look at the last few lines. We look at everything.

First step I would ask you to do is to update your GPU drivers. If it crashes again, please post back.

Please update your graphics drivers and try again. The TBM will not work with drivers older than 419.35

If the crash bar comes down by itself, then that is something in your hardware assignments. Double check those. As far as SMP causing flickering, that's a strange one. I also have SMP and am not seeing the flickering. However, it could be something to do with running on a mac. @sundog any ideas?

I would have to double check, but I'm not on the PC at the moment, but I think ice and rain effects are in one of the TBM menus. plugins->TBM900>configure visual effects Then, under rain and ice, check it's actually on, or select what you prefer.

First, can you try what @tango4 did and reboot your pc and see if the problem goes away on the original install. If not, try this: add your plug ins, into the clean install, one at a time, and start x plane after adding each one, until the problem presents itself. If/when it does, please post back with what plugin causes it.

I am REALLY sorry to be asking you this, but I have to, so we can isolate what is happening. Can you install a completely clean copy of X-Plane, no scenery, no plug ins, nothing. JUST the sim, on another hard drive (if you have the space), and then install the TBM ONLY into that, and see if the problem persists. I sincerely apologize for making you jump through hoops, because this is not what you paid for when purchasing the TBM, but it will really help us find out the cause of a problem only a few of you have.

Just curious. That yellow circle under your cursor. Is that always there or only when you're recording? Regarding the problem, can you try removing all plugins except Gizmo, and then see if the problem persists? I'm trying to figure out why this is happening, but it's a bit of a mystery for now. I have a Windows machine with Nvidia GPU as well, and all is fine on my PC.

Please update your graphics card drivers. You're using an old version of the drivers, and this version of the TBM exploits any bugs the old drivers have. Current version is 419.35 and you're using 399.24

Can you confirm you have downloaded the new installer and running that? Older installers will not work.

Any chance of a video? Trying this right now, with AoA up, and I have no flickering.
