Please update your graphics drivers and try again. The TBM will not work with drivers older than 419.35

If the crash bar comes down by itself, then that is something in your hardware assignments. Double check those. As far as SMP causing flickering, that's a strange one. I also have SMP and am not seeing the flickering. However, it could be something to do with running on a mac. @sundog any ideas?

I would have to double check, but I'm not on the PC at the moment, but I think ice and rain effects are in one of the TBM menus. plugins->TBM900>configure visual effects Then, under rain and ice, check it's actually on, or select what you prefer.

Can you try rebooting your pc and see if that fixes the flashing. Thanks!

First, can you try what @tango4 did and reboot your pc and see if the problem goes away on the original install. If not, try this: add your plug ins, into the clean install, one at a time, and start x plane after adding each one, until the problem presents itself. If/when it does, please post back with what plugin causes it.

I am REALLY sorry to be asking you this, but I have to, so we can isolate what is happening. Can you install a completely clean copy of X-Plane, no scenery, no plug ins, nothing. JUST the sim, on another hard drive (if you have the space), and then install the TBM ONLY into that, and see if the problem persists. I sincerely apologize for making you jump through hoops, because this is not what you paid for when purchasing the TBM, but it will really help us find out the cause of a problem only a few of you have.

Just curious. That yellow circle under your cursor. Is that always there or only when you're recording? Regarding the problem, can you try removing all plugins except Gizmo, and then see if the problem persists? I'm trying to figure out why this is happening, but it's a bit of a mystery for now. I have a Windows machine with Nvidia GPU as well, and all is fine on my PC.

Please update your graphics card drivers. You're using an old version of the drivers, and this version of the TBM exploits any bugs the old drivers have. Current version is 419.35 and you're using 399.24

Can you confirm you have downloaded the new installer and running that? Older installers will not work.

Any chance of a video? Trying this right now, with AoA up, and I have no flickering.

Running X-Plane while updating?

This error is the exact error that appears when X plane is running while updating an aircraft.

Just downloaded and tested. Nothing blinking. Tried Windowed mode and full screen mode. Could you both please attach log files. Can I ask, are you running more than 1 monitor? Do you also have updated GPU drivers?

I'll pass this onto Saso, but to me, it looks like GPWS crashed because it was reading corrupted scenery. I'll let him know, though.

Bug in the rain effect. Should be fixed in the next update. For now, just reload the aircraft

I have a feeling "QuickQualityMake" is going to get very busy, very soon.

The TBM uses shaders for the rain and icing, and you're seeing the shaking on the areas that have these shaders applied to them. So it's a combination of the shaders and specific hardware or even GPU drivers. Are you running a Radeon 560 or 580 by any chance? Edit: Never mind. I just looked at your log again. Radeon 580. There are some weird things happening between the 560 and 580.

Fixed and should be in the next update

Definitely not something I can see on my PC, so I would say it's isolated to some kind of hardware issue.
