  1. Not 100% sure on that. It's already on the list of possible fixes, but no promises. The scaling was done on Laminars side, so, in my opinion, the best option for a fix is if they can do something with it to make it accessible to developers. Just an FYI, the scaling has also made the Saab camera views go off alignment. So it's definitely across the board.
  2. The only major hurdle we have is the FMC. Whether or not @JGregory wants go down that road, is up to him. Eh, Jim?
  3. V2.0 is a PBR, 3D mesh and code overhaul, and will be a paid upgrade. Little fixes, like the bank angle, are getting done as part of the 1.5 run and will be free updates.
  4. The main issue here is the TBM does not use FMOD. It's using a custom sound engine. So something very weird is going on in your XP install. @skiselkov I'll leave this one to you.
  5. I'm considering this for the next update, but no promises.
  6. Do you have runways set to be flat? (Not follow terrain)
  7. Been in the works since before XP11 came out. Want to get it finished asap, though.
  8. Nothing yet. Still have all the files, and we still plan on finishing it, just no ETA
  9. There's a lot going on in there. From what I can see, your X-Plane installation, including scenery, is spread across at least 2 hard drives/partitions. For some reason, you got some FMOD sounds being read from 1 drive while X-Plane is being run from a different drive. We've seen problems with the G1000 trying to read scenery from a separate hard drive/partition. But first, going to need you to remove all plugins except Gizmo and then try again. That's a start.
  10. If you get a stable 30fps with the default Cessna, then you SHOULD be ok. LIKELY above 20fps if you keep the same settings. It's a GPU demanding aircraft, and the 1060 should be able to handle it.
  11. I'm pretty sure you bumped the Manual Override lever. Under normal conditions, moving that lever forward will increase fuel flow and overheat the engine.
  12. If you’re getting 20 FPS With the TBM, with all graphics sliders set to minimum, there is something seriously wrong happening on your end. Toto runs a worse computer than yours, and even he has FPS that are more than acceptable. What FPS do you get with the DA62?
  13. No need to post. It’s already fixed for the next update.
  14. You've attached an incomplete log file. We need the entire log file to see what's going on.
  15. You don't have to do a complete reinstall. Just install the sim with no scenery. I have no idea what other add ons you have, but no 3rd party add on is completely free of issues. Particularly when X-Plane has several 3rd party plug ins installed. There will always be a conflict somewhere until it's sorted out by the developer. Looking at your log, I can see a few plugins that may be giving you issues. But I'll wait for you to post back after taking them out before saying anything more on that.

    My TBM issues

First, thank you for your observations. Now I’ll go into a few specifics. Whereas we tried to deliver a “realistic” representation of the TBM, it is by no means meant to be used for real world practise. This is actually stated in the manual. Regarding the G1000...we were limited to what we can do by the X-Plane G1000. It will have some things missing or incorrect. Weve noticed a few things go awry with the latest update of X-Plane, particularly with the engine. In saying all that, we welcome critiques and observations, but there is always limitations when it comes to desktop simulations. By all means, join the discord and feel free to share all this. https://discord.gg/HzVF9f Just one more thing. We did have Jason Miller, co owner of Foreflight, help us with this aircraft. Not saying you’re wrong. Just saying it’ll be hard to determine who’s right or wrong.
  17. Minor fixes for people who were getting crashes in certain situations.
  18. There's no need to get to the frustrated level. If it didn't work, post in here. I certainly wouldn't wait until I reached the end of my tether to make a post. And just to clarify, the number of people having these issues represent less than 1% of our customer base. With complex aircraft comes problems on SOME PC's. There are countless PC configurations, X-Plane installations with who knows what kinds of plug ins are installed, that can be the cause of any number of bugs. Bugs happen. No software is immune to them. Not even an iphone. The latest X-Plane update crushed fps in X-Plane, but a number of people blamed the TBM. They realized it was the sim when, at my suggestion, they tried another add on. We understand you and the problems you're having. In return, we ask you to understand us. We don't know how frustrated you are. We don't know what lengths you went to. It's not our intention to make you frustrated. And most problems can be sorted out with a few seconds of work from the end user. Just ask the question and give us any files we need. As @fireone said, I'm always here. Even if I'm on vacation, I'll respond to questions within 24 hours. Usually within 12 hours.
  19. Need the log.txt in the root x plane folder
  20. Let's try to calm down a minute, Bill. We're on your side. Do you have any leftover files or folders from the TBM in the Aircraft/X-Aviation folder? If so, delete them, then reinstall. As for the FPS, nothing was changed that could affect the performance to the extent you're experiencing. Only minor tweaks were done to get rid of previous bugs. Can you try adjusting your settings. 11.3 has quite a few graphical updates, including a new particle system, that can affect fps.
  21. Yes. There are a few small issues with the Mac version, but it's all but finalized.
  22. I wish I could take credit for the coding it took to get the charts in the G1000, but that's all toto. In saying that, I can't see your idea being implemented. It would probably require a whole new programming workflow for anything external to the sim.
  23. The poor FPS is not the TBM. It’s the new X-Plane update. Turn your threaded optimisation on in your graphics card settings. Your FPS should return.
  24. Can you please send Laminar this Log and tell them what you posted here. It's likely there is a bug in the G1000. There were more changes in XP from R2 to R3, including autopilot changes. But it's definitely looking more and more like a scenery glitch coupled to the G1000.

    CTD

Most of the CTD's I've seen appear to be scenery based. And they happen because the G1000 is reading the terrain, and if the scenery file is faulty, it crashes. Sometimes it doesn't have to be faulty. Scenery can be spread across more than 1 partition, and again, it'll crash. I've also seen a LOT of airport scenery plug ins tied to the actual scenery, outside of the resources/plugins folder. The plug ins are in the actual scenery folder. These can also, very easily, cause CTD's. So far, on my end, I haven't been able to reproduce a single CTD. But then again, I have very few plug ins. We're still investigating. Unfortunately, there is no way to roll back to a previous version of the TBM.
