  1. I agree. I am not confident about my ability to use Linux, and some aircraft are not Linux-capable so I will stick with Windows at the moment.
  2. Singapore has stated that all 787s will be going to its low-cost subsidiary Scoot.
  3. Blocked on copyright grounds...
  4. It is confirmed to be on hold on x-plane.org. Perhaps we will see news soon, but I am not holding my breath sadly...
  5. So my trusty MacBookPro is just not able to keep anymore. While I am sad to have to go to Windows costs cause me too. So far I have found one that looks good and I would like your opinions. It is $1000CAD so keep that in mind. $1100 is my max. Desktop .html Also what are your thoughts on the GTX 650 Ti? Thanks, Orcair
  6. It still amazes me JAL did not add lie-flat seats to their business class section, but your recreation looks brilliant. Keep up the good work! -Orcair
  7. They will not probably help you as they are FS-based. However they may surprise me and help you out..
  8. If it is I am sure he will post with news. Sometimes there is calm before the storm...
  9. MORE MOAR MOAR. I pay in doritos!
  10. Casual dogfighting, please ignore the quality... forgot about my graphics settings
  11. You must click on the little box next to each line to select one. Perhaps you did not?
  12. This is an old thread guys. Perhaps make a new thread requesting a CRK. I tried to start one but school caught up on me...
  13. After the SAAB, Citation and updates then I imagine we'll see this finished. Even the all-working Goran robot cannot do it all at once
  14. I still play Sim City 4, so I like the way the game engine actually controls sims vs. random cars disappearing randomly on bridges
  15. Wow. This is incredible... Will it be uploaded or copyrighted so cannot be uploaded?
  16. I'm all for FA-18E/Fs and perhaps some Growlers (we can dream can't we). Similar aircraft to our FA-18As with two-engines for the arctic (yes I do know that the F135 engine is reliable but it is the arctic, stuff happens...) and it CAN ACTUALLY BE REFUELLED BY OUR CC-150Ts instead of the F-35 which cannot. And with the money saved go buy 20 C-27s to replace the Buffaloes. However I do think it is a crying shame it wasn't developed and we got the voodoo. O well, these things happen...
  17. So with work halted for half a year does this mean that the 3-D cockpit will be released then or before that?
  18. IL-14 by Felis t/o EDDF

  20. I have ended development due to this good quote. No need to add a semi-quality product to this line I will try working on smaller things first and maybe come back to this in a few years. This project is closed now. I thought I had posted this a month ago, sorry for the late news.
  21. This is what really will change the game. Having quality downloads will drastically increase viewers on x-pilot (I would think) and will provide an excellent alternative - choice is always nice to have
  22. What a classic! The plane looks great niebieski!
  23. That interior does look fantastic! Interesting to see the sleeper chairs recline as much as a blue Lufthansa business class seat now.
  24. Once again this is a review that has been featured on xplanenation.com for a while so I decided to bring it here for more viewers to enjoy. This file is an updated version of X-Plane 9's K200. And updated it is. The fuselage has been completely redone with 3-D galore. Clear windows peer into a well crafted interior complete with "bobbing" hangers and roses. The doors also work. Since this is an update of the default aircraft it is amazing to see how much of a difference a completely redone outer fuselage is. The three liveries are well crafted. my favorite is the tan one but the blue stripes is also try nice. And for those flights to Afghanistan in ISTAR mode than the USAF livery works well, albeit more of an Air Force One/VIP scheme. Another issue that happens quite often with freeware props is the propeller image. Not so with this aircraft... The propellers are quite well down and are 3-D when shut down, a nice job too. This shows the immense work that has gone into this plane as the XP9 version had noticeably different blades. Now the one thing that keeps it from being perfect, the cockpit. It is disorganized, but not overly so. While all instruments are from Plane-Maker they look correct however with a little bit of work it could look even better. This is the one thing that detracts from the overall model, however this does not make it any less of a fantastic bird. As you can see below there is a 3-D cockpit coming, which I eagerly await. I will post an updated review when the 3-D pit is released. If you like to fly your planes mostly on the outside then this plane is for you. If you are someone who needs perfectly done cockpits and stays inside the whole time than perhaps wait until an update cleans it up a bit. However considering this beauty was once a 2-D grey mess it has certainly come a long way from its roots! So let's support this new plane. 25. *****XPlanenation review of Ramzzess' IL-96***** X-Plane Version: 9 Cost: $19.96 Buy: http://store01.prost...e/Detail?no=225 One of the least reviewed aircraft in X-Plane, is in my opinion the Il-96 by Ramzzess. Available for X-Plane 9 this whale of an aircraft is a great aircraft and a total beast to fly. This review has been on xplanenation.com for some time and I believe it is time to publish this review to everyone. The Il-96-400 is a modern variant of the IL-96 aircraft with Russian engines and avionics. Although a modern aircraft, it has had trouble with orders with only 29 96s so far built. However, in X-Plane we can have as many as we want! This aircraft is available at http://store01.prost...e/Detail?no=225, and at only $19.95 USD is a great price! So lets go explore the IL-96! The cockpit is very well done. The Il-96 has 6 Main Screens as seen to the side. Each screen is meticulously done and is very clear at “high” settings. Starting the aircraft from a “dark position” is readily available for even someone with limited skills in X-Plane procedrues. The cockpit has extensive use of “manipulators", which allow for doors and windows to open as well as adjusting the landing lights brightness. Here are a few examples of what manipulators can do with a 3-D cockpit. Sun screen, instrument brightness, and flight attendant seats in the cabin. The 3-D cockpit is well modelled done and it must be noted that the aircraft has no 2-D cockpit, which can be a turn off for some buyers. However most well crafted payware planes come with a 3-D cockpit these days, thus without they cannot expect to get the same amount of purchases. The Cabin is also very well crafted. All three cabins are well modeled and for obvious reasons, I find first class to be the best to relax over a 6-9 hour flight! I always find it interesting to view the interiors of late era Soviet designed aircraft with beams throughout the cabin and IFE! The one drawback I find with the interior is the map, based upon the Airline Manager Facebook Simulation. It is quite blurry but it does seem to be a good idea to have a companies' map shown. The Il-96 also features a cargo variant. Featuring a main cargo door it is quite low on cargo and is interesting to navigate through the nooks and crannies. The last thing I will talk about is the sound. There are realistic X-passenger sounds (It is quite fun to smash the Il into the runway) however as I run it on a mac the engine sounds do not stop when accessing menus like weather, weight etc. I believe this is a mac only issue however. And my gosh the engines screech! Don't say I didn't worn you about the PS-90s.... So is it worth the 19.95 price tag? If you are a Russian aviation aficionado than of course! If you like any of Ramzzess work then yes! The one drawback is that it does not work with X-Plane 10 yet. I have updated the airfoils but the plugin prevents the PFDs from being clear. So if you fly X-Plane 9 this commercial beast is for you! -Orcair Xplanenation.com Owner More photos available at the review on www.xplanenation.com: http://www.xplanenat...-il-96-400.html
