  2. No. HotFix is designed as a means to update script assets only. No artwork assets can be updated via a HotFix at this time. Packaging requirements for an official release will affect the update rate for each official installer. The availability of a HotFix does not automatically indicate that the Official Installer has been updated at the time of HotFix release.
  3. Screenshots?
  4. You were given three hardware ID slots with your purchase and one PC format managed to "use them all up" ... I think how you did this is best explained via email with Cameron. You'll have to wait in the queue to resolve it, no doubt you have a very real reason for this happening.
  5. Bla. Posts out of synch, context broken. Ignore.
  6. You think online activation causes problems? You should see the problems online piracy causes.
  7. From the product page: Highlighted Features • 18 pre-defined themes
  8. X-Plane dev's are more accessible than any other industry you can name. Maybe you're confused by the fact that we'll tell you how it really is without being constrained by a corporate Public Relations office that insists everything is sterile and politically correct.
  9. Last minute bugs or packaging errors is a more likely explanation. Leaving it up to the developers to do their own announcements places less stress on both the developer and their customers. Customer irritation on the internet grows exponentially... it can very very quickly spiral way out of proportion. There is no award for "FIRST!!!!!!!1111111111 one one one."
  10. When replying hit the "More Reply Options" button instead of Post. The page will reload and a new more detailed form will appear. Under the content editing controls there is a section clearly labelled: "Attach Files" Click the "Choose File" button. Browse to the file you wish to upload and select it as you would any file in any other app. Click the "Attach This File" button. Your file (screenshot) will upload. Repeat as many times as necessary.
  11. Running the 32bit simulator should completely ignore current versions of Gizmo. There are no 32 bit plugins to be found. This should take less than a second for the sim to attempt, log and abort. The log files provided show no sign of any attempt to load any version of Gizmo64 or SkyMAXX and therefore offer no useful data to be analysed. @TomPolth: We need log files with Gizmo64 and SkyMAXX installed when you try to start the 32bit version of the sim.
  12. No. The amount of work invested in Gizmo is not worth repeating for something like the flight sim market. "THE" simulator is entirely subjective and based purely on individual user passion. Something which cannot be defined or rationalised by any set of features.
  13. Let me make it clearer; OBVIOUS TROLL IS OBVIOUS. Ironic that you care about numbers now when the Linux crowd repeatedly denies any relevance of numbers when applied to them... If you follow AVSIM its fairly obvious that no one customers actually care about the EULA, all the way to the point of people giving instruction on how to remove the EDU watermarking. Side note: I love Linux, but that doesn't mean I'm silly enough to try and make a market out of selling to a very niche gaming market that uses it. Would I recommend it to a client as a reliable OS? Absolutely. It just depends what your target use is... OBVIOUS TROLL IS OBVIOUS.
  14. Even with all those limitations the market size for P3D is still several thousand times larger than the market for X-P and Linux. Obvious troll is obvious.
  15. My bad. Lost in the fuzz. Sell your stuff with bullet points. Don't make people hunt for why they should care.

  17. Here's what people want: Something that automatically determines which layers each scenery pack needs to go in by looking at the contents of the scenery pack. Most people do not want a tool to help them manage this system manually. They want fully automated. Been down this road before.
  18. 250ms+ one way ping?
  19. Use a third party recorder. The built in options are junk. FRAPS for Windows. Snapz Pro X for Mac. (there are many others, these are the most popular.)
  20. This is an OS level "issue". Did you: - Use Hamachi or other VPN service recently? - Plug or unplug any network cables? - Connect to any different WiFI network equipment? ...etc. I would expect this to affect any and all copies of X-Plane that you have installed. Networking is an OS-level service. It may resolve itself with a simple reboot..... any advice beyond this is merely guessing as you haven't given us any details about the machine you're using. (OS Version, etc.)
  21. Licenses are stored in: Output/preferences/X-Aviation License Database.lua Save the file and restore it.

  23. Thanks for that. It looks like you have the current version of Gizmo installed already.. For future reference; there is additional information inside GizmoLog.txt that is also useful for diagnostics to be 100% sure. In the meantime I'll talk to Cameron and see if he tweaked the Gizmo 14.1 files at all. (The Activation GUI is specific to X-A and occasionally receives updates "out of step" from the Gizmo main package..) The majority of customers are reporting that the latest updated resolved their memory leak though so it seems unlikely that any mistakes have been made during packaging. I have also been adding some resource counters to the Gizmo code so that we can see exactly how much resources are being consumed by Gizmo and the scripts its running. This will include VRAM consumption and some other basic stats about RAM usage for things like .WAV files that are being used as custom sounds etc etc. Sorry you're having issues... thanks for your patience.
  24. Clearly you've never had your work stolen. The price is anything but small when you're the one making the content.
  25. The Org has no moderation of uploads which leads to a continual stream of teenage dickheads stealing peoples work and re-uploading it as their own to get fifteen minutes of stolen glory. This has been an ongoing problem for years. Keep an eye out for "where did that really cool freeware go?" threads and shouts, they are frequent and invariably the stench left over from the clean up ops after people have been misled into downloading pirated content.
