  1. Given the complexity of modern shaders I'd be surprised if the memory check was more complex for the GPU than rendering a single pixel. Any single pixel.
  2. Excellent news. Thank you for the follow up. It's very much appreciated to know what the root cause was. I hope you enjoy your new products!
  3. After investigation and discussion with Jim Gregory, the Saab Systems Author, I personally believe it's probably the "124thATC" plugin you have in use. Everything else seems pretty ordinary and is something I've seen running before on other peoples systems. Thanks for your help and patience tracking down this new issue.
  4. Thanks for the new data. I'm not sure why the first set was incomplete. Please forgive my tone. Investigating..
  5. How about an explanation in full of what you've done to dig yourself a hole. Your logs reveal a lot about the state of your X-Plane installation. I can see that you've been "exploring" the contents of Extension Manager, possibly installing things that don't come in the box. Your Log.txt also looks edited. It's missing the entire sequence of plugin load and start but contains the plugin exit log items. Please don't mess around. Just be straight with your facts.
  6. Linux is not supported. Sorry.
  7. I can think of a couple of other product releases from last year where a "sorry guys we screwed up" apology was definitely called for. People paid good money for bad products.
  8. We are using a third party product. We have reported the problem to them. We are unfortunately at their mercy.
  9. It's possible to find an infinite number of exposure settings used when taking photos of clouds. It's worth remembering that Frank is a certified Meteorologist, not just some guy who "thinks it looks right" but someone who's studied for and passed real life exams to have this work taken seriously.
  10. http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-model/aircraft/ Go nuts.
  11. The same thing I always have to tell you to include Colin. Version numbers. Every thread you do this. Every single one.
  12. Oh I'm sorry, did I piss you off by leaving out critical information? Annoying isn't it.
  13. The Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) is an air navigation aid developed by the Federal Aviation Administration (prime contractor Raytheon Company) to augment the Global Positioning System (GPS), with the goal of improving its accuracy, integrity, and availability. (quote from; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wide_Area_Augmentation_System ) Given that the X-Plane default GPS system is accurate down to about, oh, i dunno.... some fraction of a millimeter (it's a double precision float), what exactly do you hope to improve by "implementing WAAS" ? It takes work to remove accuracy from the X-Plane GPS coordinate system. It takes no effort what-so-ever to have unrealistically precise positioning data. Do you know what WAAS is for?
  14. I'd like to see a show of hands; All the multi-thousand hour pilots that have a hand-picked team of x-plane experts crafting a product to their exacting specifications in an effort to preserve what is your favorite aircraft of your entire career, please raise a hand? Please remember. This product is built up to a spec. NOT down to a price. Only the truly luxurious items that 99% of people never get to own are built with the kind of "unlimited time and energy" that has gone into this product.
  15. No. It's not for any specific product. There's a very deliberate absence of specific product details. The topic is very clear.
  16. I'm sorry. I guess the way you inject your professional expert opinion into every topic had me confused. My bad. Please excuse..
  17. Tom; With all due respect, I'm pretty sure the only product that will ever live up to your unique individual quality expectations is your Dash8-100. We look forward to seeing what you can do to advance the state of the art when it comes to flight simulation.
  18. I think it's fairly apparent now that; A: we don't give release dates. B: It'll only be released when we're satisfied that it's ready, no matter what we say about any release date. So no. No news on release dates and even if there was it would be a completely soft line in the sand subject to change to suit the quality target NOT the other way around. Thanks for asking.
  19. Your log indicates that X-Plane itself is crashing. Not any particular plugin. Try removing / disabling the X-saitekpanels plugin, it's been an issue in the past with GIzmo. If that doesn't work you'll need to start tracing your issue against a demo copy of X-Plane. You have a very large amount of things installed and any one of them could be the root cause.
  20. We appreciate your passion. We thank you for your patience.
  21. Yep. You got us. It's all one big elaborate five year joke.
  22. 5 * 52 = 260 weeks ( 2 weeks / 260 weeks ) * 100 = 0.76%
  23. Retard one of the throttle levers?
