  1. So much anger, yet so much learning....Hahahahahaha. Tim
  2. I would love to see IXEG continue the short haul theme, and edge of extinction theme, by developing the Embraer 135/145 line. Lots of service to smaller airports, with multiple legs per day. More interesting that taking off, setting the AP, leaving the computer for 4 hours, then coming back to land....LOL. Tim
  3. Hahahaha. And had I taken the time to work out religiously as a young man, I could have been Mr. Universe. Now, if only I could do something about those darn flyout menus on the left side of the screen that continually pop out, and stay out as my cursor moves from my primary monitor to my secondary, when using a second monitor to the left of my main monitor. Tim
  4. Ahhhhhh...the flash symbol. I guess, I never really explored that pop out, other than curse it with creative profanityt for popping out all the time when my mouse cursor gets near the right edge of my screen....LOL!!!! Tim
  5. Thanks for the update. Tim
  6. So, just a quick question. When the FMC gets jacked in flight because of an input, I usually just revert to old school VOR navigation, and finish the flight that way. How exactly do you do a "soft gizmo reboot" to reset the FMC function? Thanks, Tim
  7. Speaking of the Saab...... It was noted quite a while back that the version 1.4 update had been sent to X-Aviation, but I see that version 1.3 is what's still for sale in the store. Any idea when this last update for XP10 is going to drop in the store? Tim
  8. As I said in a previous thread, the fact that it has been this long for v1.1 is a testament to the original release. There are things we are all waiting to have tweaked, modified, or added to the package, but as it stands, there are no real deal breakers at v1.07. I fly it very frequently, and have few if any problems. It will only get better as it goes along. Tim
  9. Like everyone else, I'd be curious to have a ballpark date, but in reality, the date is meaningless. You can't control how long the process takes, so the date can't be predicted. Coding, unexpectedly breaking code, less than helpful beta testers, it all adds up, and lengthens the process. It's been over half a year since the last update, so hopefully, it will be one that really knocks our socks off. I know my expectations are high. Tim
  10. Personally I'd like the FMS to not be laggy. I think it should be configured to meet the typical mission for a 737-300. This is a 737CL, not a 737MAX. You've built this add-on to reflect reality, with some minor concessions for simulator play, and I don't think you should degrade performance for something very, very, very few people would use the add-on for. Tim
  11. I knew there was a reason I make crappy landings. I knew it couldn't be my skill set....LOL. Tim
  12. Take that you valued customer! Hahahahahaha. Funny stuff there... Tim

    Xplane 11?

Crystal clear. Thanks for laying it out like that. I'm planning on picking it up for XP10 after the update, and it's good to know that it will also be compatible in XP11 as well. I'm glad to see the development continue to a version 2 as well. The SAAB was such an important aircraft in the evolution of commuter aviation, it's cool to see it alive and well in X-Plane. Thanks for taking the time to show the road map, it's appreciated. Tim

    Xplane 11?

So, just to be clear. The long awaited update will create an XP11 stand alone aircraft, and the current v1.3 is now the final and complete XP10 version, with no further development on v1.3 for XP10? I ask this, only because I've been waiting for the XP10 final update, to determine if I wanted to spend the money on it. Thanks, Tim
  15. Honestly, it doesn't feel like it's been that long. I guess that it's current stat is good enough for most people to enjoy, with no real deal breakers. That says a lot about the add-on. With that said though, I'm kind of surprised it's taken 7 months to get to v1.1. Tim
  16. Nice to see this list. Many things to look forward to for sure. I'm normally a "whenever it gets here, it gets here" kind of person, but for some reason, I'm really itching to get this update sooner than later. I guess it's because I enjoy the aircraft so much, that I want it to be even better. The only drawback for me right now is VASTSIM flying where you might get a re-route, and have to revert to /A navigation. I hope the update goes a long way in shoring up the FMC in this area. Tim
  17. I'm personally not interested in this, as my flying online is mostly spur of the moment, and not planned in advance. But....I voted yes, because I frequently see people looking for others to share a cockpit, and clearing house area would help out those people that really want to do this. Tim
  18. I already use TCAS while flying the 737CL online. It's in the form of Vattastic on a second monitor. I can see everyone around me, their altitude, and what direction they are headed. Tim
  19. Hopefully you'll get it figured out. Since it's not a widely reported phenomenon, you clearly must have an issue on your end being caused by a hardware or software conflict. So many thousands of HDW and SFTW combos, it could take a while to sort it out. Hopefully, you'll get it fleshed out soon! Tim
  20. Love, love, love that Delta widget repaint. Tim
  21. I do a very, very little amount of repainting, and I too use GIMP. It's been my experience that every paint kit, either from the developer, or from a secondary party, contains anomalies like this. For some reason, when developers create a model, they don't give much thought to the texturing end of it, and sometimes, textures get re-used, as in the nose gear door. Another area I haven't been able to solve are the vortex generators on the empennage. If your paint scheme splits them, you have to just pick a color and live with all of them being the same color. It'd be nice to see these things remapped and fixed, but I doubt the paintkit is very high on the priority list. Tim
  22. Well, I have some inside information. It's going to be either late 2016, or early 2017. I guarantee this. Tim
  23. Wow. Thank you. It seems that some developers are taking advantage of XP11 being new to open another revenue stream with a paid product update. This is very kind of the IXEG team. Tim
  24. Love the eyebrows, and the other visual updates! I hope the FMC is seeing an equal amount of love by the deveolpers. Tim
  25. I knew this picture was headed over to this thread the second I saw it.....Hahahahahaha! Tim
