    Not really, in my opinion. I hate the new cockpit (it looks more like a 787 than a 737). I like that it burns less fuel, but I don't like how aerodynamic it must be to do so. It already doesn't descend too well. I wonder how it'll descend after the changes. Either way, I still like it more than the A320

    The small display above the GPS. It looks like a Collins, and it's a Remote Readout Unit for something. I bought something like it on eBay a few weeks ago

    I survived the snow! The Dulles total is probably the same as what I got, as I'm very close to Dulles. Sadly some snow has melted, so any measurements would be inaccurate. The snow is still pretty though, you don't need to measure that

    A fellow NoVA native! We've got the same snow. Earlier today I went to the upstairs room closest to the street to look at the front of the house. About 1/3 of the window was covered with snow. I know where I'm doing some IFR flying today!

    Yeah, the screenshots on the .Org store are all pretty terrible. If you see a plane you're interested in, you should try to find it somewhere else so you can get a better idea of what it looks like.

    Are you modeling the engine in icing conditions at low thrust? That'd be a fun thing to simulate

    I had the same issue the first few flights. I suggest you use the built-in checklist so you can get the hang of it. Also, I'm guessing your problem is the Oxygen handle on the copilot's side.

    I'm very happy to hear that there are no X-FMC plans. Unless they can get the Universal UNS-1LW (the only FMC I've seen in the Saab and many other turboprops) very well, I wouldn't want an FMC. I'm guessing many people would, but it takes some guts to release a plane without an FMC, and it shows me that LES strives for realism, whether it includes an FMC or not.

    Or get SkyMaxx. I've got to say, even if it is expensive, it's worth it.

    x737 only has a 2D panel at the moment, so unless you really want a jet I think that the F27 is the better option. There's also a really good Dornier Do328 (the prop version).

    Hello, all! I've been looking at a bunch of GPS options to use with X-Plane, and I found a 195 for very little money, as well as a 295 for more (but still in my budget). I know that the 196 and 296 work with X-Plane, but will the 195 and 295? Let's assume for a second that I can plug them into my laptop somehow (which I may not be able to). Will either one work with X-Plane? Thanks, -VETTE

    Only suggestion I have for a monitor is: 1080p or more. The computer you're looking at can handle XP at pretty high settings, and you wouldn't want that to go to waste on a crappy monitor. I'm not going to pretend to know more than I do. If you want a brand, specific monitor, etc. recommended, I'm not the person to ask.

    Always happy to help a newcomer Sorry, no idea. All I know is how it runs on my system. I know that it should be doing a lot better than that, but I don't know much more.
