Here is a hot fix for that issue:

Here is a hot fix file to address the HSI 180° offset with the panel lights turned on. To install, just place this png inside the X-Plane 11/Aircraft/TorqueSim BN-2T Turbine Islander/objects folder replacing the file of the same name. (2T_gauges_LIT.png) 2T_gauges_LIT.png.zip

Yes, we have a fix for that in the works right now and will be released in an update this week.
-
I can't replicate this and we don't have any reports of this. Do you have some graphical mods that could cause this possibly? A screenshot and your log.txt file could help diagnose what is going on.

Hi Julian, After purchasing the G5, re-run the BN-2T installer to have it install the G5. There will be a separate aircraft in the X-Plane menu that has "G5" in the name.

Taking a look into the trim to see if we need to add more authority there. We haven't heard of cases with such a severe runout of trim, those extreme circumstances sound like either the flaps are still out at too high of a speed or the engines are above torque limits.

Two small (?) requests for the Turbine Islander
Coop replied to diamonddriller's topic in BN-2T Turbine Islander
I'll put the AP popup request on the list as well as the fix for the isolator switch on the checklist. -
TorqueSim BN-2T Turbine Islander - Releasing Friday!
Coop replied to Coop's topic in General Discussion
There are custom commands for these, they are browsable through the X-Plane command editor, starting with "afm/islander/cmd/switches/...", these can be bound to switches if you desire. -
We will get this fixed in the next SR20 update, in the mean time, just replace the TorqueSim SR20/SR20_cockpit.obj file with the attached file. SR20_cockpit.obj

Thanks for the report, I'll look into it!

Hm, it should. Is the persist setting turned on?

G5 HSI CDI is not connected properly to my GNS 430
Coop replied to David B's topic in G5 Instruments
Hi David, With RealityXP, you will need to adjust their settings based on how your specific is configured. There is probably an option in RealityXP settings to have the GNS drive the HSI, or drive the autopilot. Trying either of those could get it working. RealityXP will know more in this regard. I would also recommend changing the autopilot back to how it was prior, as most likely the aircraft developer had it set at a certain mode on purpose. -
G5 HSI CDI is not connected properly to my GNS 430
Coop replied to David B's topic in G5 Instruments
Is this using the LR GNS 430 or the RealityXP GNS 430? If it is just not automatically adjusting the course to match the GPS DTK, this is a customization needed to be made using the "Plane Maker" application. Open the aircraft of concern in the app, then under Systems -> General 1, select the two circled options below. -
TorqueSim BN-2T Turbine Islander - Releasing Friday!

Another bonus coming with the BN-2T, a military variant! An automatic system is in place, any livery with "MILITARY" in its name can get the military equipment to show, allowing community liveries to also make use of these extra objects -
TorqueSim and X-Aviation are excited to announce the release of the Turbine Islander this Friday (January 29th)! We’re pleased to finally present our rendition of the BN-2T to you. What began as a simple conversion grew into a completely new aircraft. This is the culmination of efforts spanning nearly four months, including updates to the 3d model, textures, texture mapping, FMOD sound pack, plugins, flight model, and many more small fixes and changes. If you enjoyed the BN-2, you’ll find the turbine version an absolute joy to fly! You can see our preview flight of the aircraft here! Many of the upgrades built for the 2T will also find their way into our BN-2 in the near future in the form of update 1.2. We very much look forward to sending that out as well. Regarding pricing and release logistics: The TorqueSim BN-2T Turbine Islander will be available for $34.95 Everyone who has purchased the BN-2B through Thursday (Jan 28, 11:59pm EST) will be eligible for promotional pricing, bringing the price to $19.95 (43% off!). A coupon code will be emailed on Friday which will be valid for 60 days. A bundle will be available containing the BN-2B and BN-2T for $54.95 All prices are in USD. Here are some other great screenshots showcasing the new visuals! More photos can be seen here.

Much improved soundpack here

Turning down the "Visual Effects" setting should reduce the quality of shadows and thus could help in your situation. The aircraft also does simulate the cockpit lighting, you can turn on the overhead and panel lights using the appropriate controls in the cockpit (knobs the switch plate, button on ceiling panel), these only work with the X-Plane Visual Effects set to enable HDR.

This seems to be something has gone awry with the X-Plane AHRS, causing it to think its in a significant bank, since the SVS is custom drawn, we aren't subjected to that bug showing the horizon is as expected. You can try resetting failures in X-Plane's failure menu to see if that resolves it, but a restart of X-Plane should get it back working.

Try opening the inlet heat, the levers are located on the center pedestal under the engine levers.

With aircraft that don't have developer integration, they can only be used in 2D popups. There needs to be an open space on the aircraft's cockpit panel texture to render, adjusting g5_x_a, g5_y_a (for the PFD) and g5_x_b and g5_y_b (for the HSI) can be used to adjust where this rendering occurs, so it doesn't interfere with the aircraft's instruments. These settings are inside acf_config.cfg in the aircraft folder/plugins/G5/settings.

The flight plan functionality is part of native X-Plane and we don’t have control or the ability to modify it. Something you can try in this case is doing a direct to, to see if that gets it working again.

Ovation 2 with gtx750 blocking out part of radio
Coop replied to erevans1's topic in AFM M20 Collection
Right now the code is torn apart for the 3D overhaul that is *finally* getting close to release. Fixes for this and a plethora of other bugs will be integrated with that.
