  1. Ah, I see the issue. A texture change didn't make its way into the G5 integration. In the BN-2T folder, replace the BN-2T Islander G5_prop.png with the attached file.
  2. This sounds like something is conflicting with your hardware setup or something regarding maintenance as that is not a known issue. Starting with engines running shouldn't lead to an immediate shutdown. In the SR22 maintenance manager, I would recommend running the various engine maintenance procedures (Report files are printed to X-Plane/Output/SR22 with details on what maintenance was performed). If you have a hardware setup, please make sure that you don't have any throttle axis assigned to "Prop" as that could be causing conflicts between the SR22's unified throttle/prop lever.
  3. Thanks for the log! I'm not seeing anything particular that is catching my eye in the log file. It sounds that perhaps the installation didn't get all the proper files, or perhaps some combination of old/new files remains. I would recommend re-installing the latest version and see if that fixes the issue. You can manually uninstall the Islander beforehand by deleting the BN-2T Turbine Islander folder in X-Plane 11/Aircraft/X-Aviation
  4. There could be two different things at play: 1) The altitude preselect must be "armed" by clicking the ARM button. If not it will continue at the selected VS and just keep going. The knob is used to select the altitude preselect, the Up/Down buttons are used to select the VS. 2) The Turbine Islander is especially tail heavy. If the weight/balance is too far aft or too light, the aircraft can run out of trim authority at higher cruising speeds. Running out of trim can cause oscillations and climbing through a selected altitude.
  5. It looks like the fix in the latest libacfutils didn't fully address the issue for everyone, in the meantime while we are working on a fix, there is a workaround to prevent this from happening: In X-Plane 11/Aircraft/X-Aviation/TorqueSim BN-2T Turbine Islander/plugins/is_systems/settings, there is a file settings.cfg. Open that file, and set the line "disable_mtuploader" to "= 1" (it is 0 by default). Loading the aircraft after that should then be without issue.
  6. If it is just the two crew on board at a fast cruise, I would expect near full down trim. This plane is not designed to fly empty.
  7. If you can send your log.txt file (located in the main X-Plane folder), we should be able to debug what is going on.
  8. The persistent systems should have the switches return to their last set positions, were they left on at the end of your previous flight?
  9. Thanks for reporting! I've logged it and we will look into solutions for this.
  10. Do you have multiple monitors or a really low resolution monitor? Are you running X-Plane full screen or windowed?
  11. Yeah, the X-Plane frequency entry system is very finicky.
  12. The screen glare can be removed by setting "disable_pixel_effect = 1" in the settings config file. The glass objects can also be removed in their entirety.
  13. That sounds like an entirely unrelated issue to what was previously mentioned. Can you upload your log.txt file after that happens?
  14. Thanks for the log. I'm not seeing anything with our code causing the crash specifically. I'm guessing the issue might be something related to either running a GTX 950 or running Windows 7, or the combination of both. Something you can try, In X-Plane 11/Aircraft/X-Aviation/TorqueSim BN-2T Turbine Islander/plugins/is_systems/settings, there is a file settings.cfg. You can open that file, and set the line "disable_mtuploader" to "= 1" (it is 0 by default).
  15. This seems to be an X-Plane rendering bug, we are working on a workaround as it only affects certain systems
  16. Nothing to share at this time
  17. In order to debug what is going on, we need a copy of the X-Plane log.txt file. You can find a guide to get this file here: How to find the X-Plane log.txt file?
  18. I'm guessing something might have got overwritten in the RXP config file. Make sure your RXP GTN is up to date as well. Attached is the configuration file which goes into the TorqueSim BN-2T Turbine Islander folder. RealityXP.GTN.ini
  19. Hm, did you run the G5 installer on the plane? This looks like an old G5 plugin is overriding the new one that is packaged with the aircraft (the Islander installer will automatically grab the correct configuration files and install the G5 for you at install). I would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the Islander.
  20. The red/green knobs control which wing each engine is fueled from (be it main or tip) The metal switches control whether the wing is feeding from the main or the tip tanks Yes. The middle switch controls the tank selection lights Yes, tip tank gauges are on the right sidewall near the ceiling Yup! Keep some reserve in the mains and then feed from the tips once you reach reserves on the mains.
  21. Oxygen switches: afm/sr/cmd/switches/o2_On afm/sr/cmd/switches/o2_Off Fuel Boost/Prime switch: afm/sr/cmd/switches/fpumpUp afm/sr/cmd/switches/fpumpDn Note, the fuel pump switch will just reposition the switch up and down, going from Prime -> Off -> On and vice versa.
  22. Yes, we have a tweak for this in the works.
  23. I'm not thing anything specific in the log file that would be causing this. Can you send a screenshot of this?
