IXEG 737 Progress Update - December 12th FMS VNAV
kpregira replied to tkyler's topic in General Discussion
I was just now able to see the video of the FMC VNAV climb. All I can say is WOW WOW WOW. All the other airliners that I own for X-plane pale in comparison to this one. If you tried to change things on the other airliner's FMC's as Jan did in the video, without a doubt, you either could not do it, or the FMC would have a "brain fart." Awesome job guys. I can't wait to add this plane to my virtual hanger. Once I do, the others will collect virtual dust. Kevin -
It's really gonna be nice to work with a FMC that works like the real thing. (not that I know what that's like) But I know it can't be as aggravating as the one's that others have modeled. I wish the companies that make the real ones would license the actual code to sim developers. Just thinking out loud. By the way keep up the good work IXEG team......waiting patiently!!!!! Kevin

Airplane weight with fuel and passengers. Automatic CG?

PMDG is PMDG and it is ONLY available on the outdated FSX or the "wanna be X-Plane" P3D. If people prefer unnecessary details and a "set in stone" flight model , by all means stick with PMDG and FSX/P3D. But... If you want a dynamic flight model that is influenced by weather/environment and can even be used as an engineering tool, then X-Plane is the one. IXEG looks very promising as the most authentic rendition of the long awaited 737. I certainly hope so. -
I Have an iMac 27" with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4096 MB and I stretch the screen across three monitors with HDR settings and so far so good. I can't wait to try this beauty out. From the older videos to the newest ones on this plane, even though you say it's not quite finished yet, I think you are way out in front of everyone else. I have about 50 or so payware aircraft, and from what I've seen in Jan's videos and the pictures that you guys have posted, I'm a huge fan. Thanks for all your hard work, and you will all reap the rewards of your hard labors as soon as this plane is released.

We are talking about pennies here. This is one of my favorite hobbies. It's how I relax and unwind, so that's worth a lot to me so If IXEG's 737 uses Aerosoft then I'll buy both. By the way, Aerosoft's update interface really sucks compared to Navigraph but I can live with it. Anyway, it's not going to break the bank and I'de rather NOT have any problems with the most anticipated aircraft in X-Plane's history. Yes IXEG and X-Aviation I am chomping at the bit and ready to go.

The MD-80 was NOT complete and NOT worth the money. It has too many bugs. Hopefully the next update will fix these bugs. The modeling is top notch though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just purchased Aerosoft Navdata Pro for $19.95 US. I'm ready to roll when you are IXEG 737 Classic. By the way, I also just renewed my subscription to Navigraph about a month ago..... So what no big deal, we're not talking about THAT much money.

Can't wait

I really like the analog gauges, I think they add to the realism. I can't wait to buy this plane. I can't believe no one else has developed it before now. I know FlyJSim has the 737-200, and it's one of my favorites, but I really want a FMS and from the looks of this one I am very impressed.

I've attached an IFR clearance form that uses the CRAFT format. I use it all the time and it makes copying your IFR clearance much easier, and keeps you organized during your flight. Check it out and let me know what you think. kpregira IFR Clearance Form.pdf
