  1. Great video and shows how they do it in reality. My only 2 cents is that in Xplane the GPU is placed on the right side of the aircraft. So I start the left engine first then remove the GPU. Would be interesting to know if this affects any systems? The main one would be the hydraulics, for steering and braking, but the pumps are electrical so cannot see any issues there.
  2. Thanks for the update, this is one of my favourite birds to fly in Xplane. I love to take off and land in VR and it works a treat for me. With the update to 1.5.1 I have a few observations 1) I am unable to select hundreds of feet only thousands using mouse. I have scroll wheel manipulator turned off. 2) The elevator trim goes very nose up during approach and landing. Never this high in version 1.5? 3) In VR the glass reflections are making it difficult to read under certain conditions, sunlight reflecting, is this something that can be turned off? I still have the problem that my engine will not always start after loading flight. Mainly my left as this is the first one I start and the then the right would start fine. I have to reload aircraft to fix issue. This was a problem in 1.5 as well. Thank you so much for continued work and support on this wonderful aircraft.
  3. Thanks for this it works a treat.
  4. I dont have these either maybe these are datarefs and not commands too?
  5. Thanks Goran_M but these are for the actual starter not the ignition. I have these bound already and they work great .

    Dataref's

Hi, I just wondered if there was a dataref that I could assign to a joystick button for ignition toggle switches?
  7. Hi, first off can I say this is my favourite plane at the moment in XP11. Just love short hops in her. I have had a couple of things which I am unable to 100% replicate like Engine will not start, always seems to be one as the other side starts, which appears to be no fuel flow. Nothing changes in hardware or panel settings but just will not start until I restart XP11. My autopilot seems to trim my elevators full up and I dont even have it engaged. only happened a couple of times. I see if I can understand these small problems more. Also I was unable to perform single engine taxis after one engine landing or just turning one off as I enter the gate. I made some plane maker adjustments and I now have this and very happy My question here is the status lights, if that's what they are called. As you can see the lights are visible at night but during the day they are not. Is there some filter over them that kills the colour? Many Thanks for a lovely add on for Xplane

  8. Nice clouds what you using?
  9. Hi thanks for the amazing updates 1.0.7 VNAV seems to be running well on my short flight route will see how it performs on a longer flight when I have more time. My question is regarding ground handling. During a runway back track taxi I started my turn around with my separate axis, my warthog throttle unit throttle friction control axis for my nose wheel steering. I find this works great. Now as I was performing the tight turn using the outside throttle a little I thought by applying the inside wheel brake a little it would help the turn. But that didn't happen, instead the aircraft just stopped as if both brakes where applied. Am I correct in thinking this is correct method? Many thanks Tony
  10. Hi and thanks for the continued updates loving them. I have a thing happening with my auto throttle. While hand flying the last few hundred feet I disengage the auto pilot and deselect speed on the MCP for manual throttle control. I match up the ghost throttles and attempt to land. During my speed adjustments I notice that MCP speed button has re-lit and so have I have press it again to disengage speed mode. Match ghost throttles and try again. This happened at least 3 times during my last approach. What am I doing wrong? should I be disengaging auto throttle all together? I thought It needs to be armed in case of go around? Tony
  11. Hi I had this problem and it was my fuel tanks being empty. I added fuel and seemed to cure it.
  12. I have just noticed this behaviour in 1.0.4 so not sure if it was happening in older versions. I have the rudders assigned to an axis and the tiller assigned to a separate axis. If I use the tiller and apply max deflection I can then increase this further my deflecting the rudder pedals at the same time. If you look at the tiller handle it moves past the marks and also the nose wheel moves past the 90 degree deflection. Not sure if this the correct behaviour? Many Thanks for the continued updates. Tony
  13. Well very nearly again.. short hop from my local EGNJ to EGNT filled out the FMC all set and did not edit it in the air. All went well from 400' selected VNAV and LNAV and then CMD at 1500'. All went well. before TOD reset Altitude to ILS FAF approach altitude 2200' just before reaching FAF the descent stopped and held at 2800' checked all FMC restraints 2200' and MCP window 2200 set. QHN correct. So nearly made it on VNAV Cheers Tony
  14. I will try a flight with a full VNAV before take off and see how she performs Cheers Tony
  15. Can I add, if it helps, that this happened to me on a few occasions and it only seems to happen after I have completed a leg. after sitting at the gate preparing to return I use ground service to adjust weight and fuel then I start to reprogram the FMC, (PERF RTE LEGS pages) and while selecting take off page it jumps straight to climb page. I have rebooted GIZMO and this does not fix it. Tony
  16. Thanks Jan, I tested the pressure drop with flap and brake pumping load. Although the pressure drops while pumping the brakes it is still able to replenish to 3000psi until around 5% N2. Hi poodster, I dont use VNAV on departure as I never select runway until in the air. Normally for me VNAV shows a delayed TOD which means it never is able to get on the right profile. Or while descending on what seems to be the right profile the speed bug it follows seems to go above the bar pole (maximum speed ) and I have to intervene. It has nearly worked but always seem to be something messing it up so I don't tend to bother with it much. Tony
  17. Well its been a few weeks now and this is still my only aircraft outside its hanger, the rest are tucked away. Love it lots but still unable to complete a flight with VNAV. Not too worried as I know its being looked at. Besides makes the descent a lot more fun. My question is regarding the engine driven hydraulic pumps. After coming to stop at the gate and shutting down the engines the hydraulic pressure remains at 3000 psi right up until the engine N2 speed is around 5% then it suddenly drops, no slow decay. I would have thought the engine driven hydraulic pumps would requires a lot more engine speed to sustain that pressure? Many Thanks IXEG for your continued development.
  18. Non taken I know they have more magic to work it can only get better.
  19. Hi, I would just like to say a big thank you to IXEG for letting me fly there wonderful 737-300 ( that's what it feels like im doing) In between all the bug reports and small issues I have flown for several hours now. Fine tuning my X-Plane to get the best performance. I have flown many circuits, routes, approaches and landings each one feeling like I was flying a living breathing airplane. I love FSX and a certain other 737 and J41 ( maybe IXEG can do a turbo prop ) I love the FS2Crew and VOXATC experience makes it feel part of living environment but I have now been spoilt with the feeling and flight model X-Plane and IXEG give me. Feel very bored in my FSX planes now! Great job Thank you Tony
  20. I have tested this and see the same as Jan. With the park brake set and handbrake pressure above 1000 psi the aircraft does not move with 50knot side wind. If you pump the brakes with no AC power to replenish the pressure there is a point around 1000psi when the brakes release and the aircraft weather cocks with the wind. As soon as you turn on the hydraulic pump ( I think No2) the system replenishes and holds firm again. Hope this helps Tony I have just opened my last xplane situation and found my aircraft sliding in the wind. Very funny as I just posted about it! Well it seems as the aircraft is loaded the HYD Brake Pressure is set to zero. Which means no park brakes applied and so the aircraft turns into the wind. As the aircraft is moving I am unable to access Ground Services to add ground power to add hydraulic power to replenish the HYD Brake Accumulator! So maybe the HYD Brake Pressure needs to be checked to see if it is getting set to Zero somewhere. Hope this helps Tony
  21. Well I thought I might get a short flight in before work this morning, wasn't to be! So ill wish everyone happy flying and I will be joining you after 8 tonight.
  22. Thanks for quick response tkyler.. I know how committed IXEG is. There is so much to enjoy about your 737-300 it will take me months to fully appreciate all the work you guys have done.
  23. Tick Tock Tick Tock... stop watching the clock!! Great work
  24. Well.. I am a little excited to say the least. After purchasing X-Plane a few years ago I found this addon being developed. I recon I must have checked the forums at least 3 times a week for updates and watched Jan's YouTube videos tens of times. Just love the amount of useful information he manages to squeeze in. I do have a question regarding the FMC and the Progress page, has this been implemented as I don't see it used on any of the latest videos? Many Thanks IXEG
  25. Hi poodster, Ive just seen there YouTube video, looks nice Regards
