I'd like to believe you don't typically stoop to this level and carry yourself with more maturity. Please don't bring that into this thread. It's really not necessary, scotchegg. I know you're better than that. -
Where is "here?" X-Pilot is a general X-Plane forum for anyone...there's projects going on all around the forum board... Aircraft Scenery Commercial Products

X-Plane 10.25, SimHeaven ZL17 and SkyMAXX Pro Loading Issue
Cameron replied to pebull2009's topic in Help!?!
The most likely explanation here is the photoscenery loading across several DSF files. The pause is known when the hard drive is loading other areas and can't keep up with the speed of your flight. Not sure what kind of advice can really be offered on this one. EDIT: Does the same thing happen if you fly in this area with ONLY SkyMaxx Pro and not the photoscenery installed?- 6 replies

- SimHeaven
- SkyMaxx Pro

So did you actually take the advice given in previous replies?

Pretty much everything you have wished for here is on Laminar and not us at this time.

Hi there, I believe we just responded to you via your support ticket in e-mail. Please see the response there.

This thread has deteriorated rather rapidly from its original purpose and the behavior being aired out here will not be allowed to continue. There are many better ways to handle these issues. This thread is now closed.

Oh man, LOL. I'm so conflicted on whether I should have laughed at this....but I did.

Heya, I know this can be extremely frustrating with a lack of news postings, but truth be told sometimes there's just nothing to speak of. In the world of programming, sometimes no news is good news. NORCAL has been an extraordinary project for both RealScenery and X-Aviation. Not only is it the largest product ever built by RealScenery, but the technical challenges of distribution have also been at play. A lot of folks don't realize that these types of things take time, and so instead it's easy to air frustration. For the most part, the wait has been because we have always said to ourselves that NORCAL will be a defining product...one that a lot of folks will hold to a high degree, and as such we have worked tirelessly to perfect it over the years. It's just that big of a coverage area and project! The infrastructure we have had to build in order to distribute this has been a long time in the making, and only recently have we got things dialed in. Many of the other products have been placed on the newer delivery platform in recent times and a lot of feedback from customers has been a "beta" of sorts to help us fix potential bugs on the delivery system prior to release of NORCAL. We know the demand for this product will be huge. It is quite literally the most asked about product daily in our enquiry form at X-Aviation. The wait is almost over. We're very close, and we're super excited. Hang in there!

Cameron replied to JohnMAXX's topic in General Discussion
Just to be clear, what you see in the above screenshots from John is not a part of the recently released update today. This stuff is slated for a forthcoming update, but enjoy the new stuff anyhow! -

Work Continues------- SkyMAXX Pro WIP Shots
Cameron replied to JohnMAXX's topic in General Discussion
Minor changes and bug fixes. Nothing to write home about, but improvements none-the-less. We've been running 10.3 for a while here. -
Nope! Quite a number of other aircraft will show this too depending on various parameters and features of the aircraft. It's highly dependent on control surface locks being present or not. This is probably one of the oldest features in X-Plane that I can remember (albeit not very pretty to look at)...as far back as v5 at least.

Not sure if you're aware, but the X-Plane Reviews site is actually funded by the owner of X-Plane.org. This may answer your question as to why you'd be banned there as well.
-
No, there is no way to prevent this.
-
That would be X-Plane stimulating control movement in the wind.
-
Hey Martin, We share the same thought and I think you'll eventually see this make its way into the Oahu package.
