It definitely isn't if you're seeing the issue you describe. After applying the setting you may need to restart Windows for it to take affect. This ONLY happens when your OS text size is too large.

There is no "cure". If a machine ID is locked it's because you or someone using your license did such a thing by typing 'FREEZE'. When you choose to deactivate a machine it is VERY clear that it is forever. It states so, and further, we force you to type 'FREEZE' in upper caps to ensure you want to continue the operation. It's not meant to be reversible for good reason.

Sounds a LOT like lack of knowledge on the operating of the aircraft. Nose wheel steering requires the tiller, engine stop sounds similar to overheat or over torque, etc. MaxxFX and SoundMaxx are so turn-key I can't even imagine how they "never worked properly" on your system. I don't think I've ever had a single complaint about those two products and their operation! The lack of start when props moving has me to believe you are using auto-start. In this situation you will need to wait for the props to stop spinning (sometimes at load from X-Plane shutting the engines down) prior to running auto-start.

Nope, all of this is okay and inconsequential. You don't want or need these particular sounds loading in X-Plane 11. Those are XP 10 sounds prior to FMOD for various packages. All is okay!

You're going to drive yourself crazy with this. So many optics change in real life with lenses and even weight of aircraft as it sits. Do your best on the livery and enjoy it.

The contact page explicitly states not to send multiple emails or it will delay a response. A machine ID gets locked up only because you selected it to be locked. It also states that the process is a forever selection and intended to be irreversible. Licensing issues are not to be handled on the forums.

SoundMaxx. The other issue you mentioned sounds like one of two things: 1. You have non alpha-numeric characters in a password (&, *, %, etc) and these are not supported. You'll have to change your password or 2. Your firewall is active and is being extra protective preventing proper transmission of information to the server. Best course of action here is to temporarily disable.

These two are entirely customizable. Select a different sky color if you like. By default it uses the usually considered accurate Hosek-Wilkie sky model. We have gone back and forth with this over various versions. This one categorically goes under "cannot please everybody". When we have made them darker the majority of people write in their hatred for this change. This is the happy medium we have come up with. This is an X-Plane draw order issue. Nothing we can do about it for now. Default clouds have the same problem. Are you going across multiple DSF tile zones when this happens? X-Plane will force some re-draws when this happens. This is not something I've heard. @sundog will probably know more or be interested in this one.

No holes. You are using 3D cockpit view to move around and the X-Plane rendering is inbetween showing one object and another. The clear marks are scratches on the glass. There is nothing wrong here.
