  1. You need to re read the file location instructions.
  2. You can easily help yourself by using the search function on these forums.
  3. Maybe you should make some effort to actually search for your answer in this forum (the answer is here in numerous topics) rather than waste your time calling names.
  4. The message received by the store, and the reason you receive that error, is because your bank is declining the transaction. You will need to contact them to figure out why.
  5. You'll likely need to restart your machine after applying this setting for it to work.
  6. This error is caused by large text pushing other info off of the installer screen. To fix this, please set your text size back down to 100% during install. You may learn to do this here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Make-the-text-on-your-screen-larger-or-smaller
  7. Then if that's what you thought you you should have offered it. I already helped him with a link to the answer.
  8. It's very clear you did not follow the directions listed.
  9. Please be diligent and read through the forums. This has been answered many times.
  10. Yes, just run the installer twice. One for each version.
  11. Rolf, The windows program folder is probably just from the actual install program. In X-Plane the older SkyMaxx Pro would have been deleted and overwritten. You can verify this by opening the SkyMaxx Pro configuration screen when you have X-Plane running. It will tell you the SkyMaxx Pro version number running.
  12. Ah! That explains the struggle. Thanks! We'll examine options to help out low vram users.
  13. For my own technical info, what video card do you have?
  14. Have you tried adjusting your reflection settings in X-Plane? Just curious if that makes a difference for you.
  15. The HotFix system is code only, not objects, so the quick and dirty answer is "no".
  16. Whoa! 2GB seems awfully low these days. Are you on a Mac or something? I guess that would make a little more sense. I'd have to agree, with 2GB as a whole you're really pushing the limits of X-Plane as it is.
  17. Considering most other sceneries do not cover a span of 64 sq miles with custom buildings and objects all throughout, this is to be expected. "Many other sceneries" do not do this type of coverage in detail. @Attitude will have to answer the rest of your thoughts.
  18. Is this the R5 with the 1080 or 1080ti? Both are comparable cards, and I am basically running the same system as you (Alienware as well), but I do NOT have any significant FPS impacts. In fact, I just had the following review come in from someone with a MUCH lesser system than you or I have: "First impressions is that there IS an insane amount of detail with no noticeable hit on my laptop (MacBook Pro, Mid 2015). I thoroughly enjoyed doing a memory lane lap around the old patch." I suppose it would be difficult to apply everyone's scenario to one another though. Some people love to try and slam the sliders full right, and that's unrealistic expectations (nor is the trade-off usually worth it when it comes to gain in visuals vs performance impact)!
  19. Captains, We are pleased to announce the first The Gate to the Great Lakes region has been released! You may purchase the Custard region by visiting the store. Enjoy!
  20. Not sure what you mean? The product page says "Sunday 12 November, 2017" Until that bit is removed from the page it is not available for purchase just yet. We're getting very close.
  21. Sounds like you're still not deleting both of the files specified. Show a screenshot of your X-Plane/X-Aviation folder.
