  1. Hi, Tom, Just to add to this conversation, more info on why 285.62 Nvidia driver shouldn't be used for XP is here: http://developer.x-plane.com/2011/12/an-awesome-nvidia-artifact/
  2. Totally okay, Dennis. The attempt to help is much appreciated. The rest of X-Pilot is open for free-standing convo! Hope to continue to see you around here!
  3. Dennis, Again, these support forums for the CRJ are related to X-Aviation. X-Plane.org and X-Aviation do not handle activations in the same way.
  4. I'll try this out in a moment, but may I ask what the point of pressing LSK so many times is?
  5. Very odd. I've only personally had this problem in XP10, and it was solved with the NVidia driver update + some fixes from Supnik which was later released in a new version of 10. We may have to wait for Philipp to help diagnose this one. He's intermittently away for the week, but he'll get to it when he can. Your log, your activation info on this end, and your description of what's happening when you load the CRJ with blank screens from the start all point to an issue that is NOT activation related. I'm not sure if there are some pieces of old drivers that should be deleted that aren't actually getting so, or what. Very odd indeed.
  6. The CRJ is a relatively quick aircraft to throw down. They CAN throw some punch in reverse mode. As described in the manual, auto reverse will not deploy on every touch down (be sure that it's activated to begin with). It will ONLY deploy on what it determines are hard enough landing to justify that what you're hitting is really intended as ground. If you grease it...chances are you're going to need to manually deploy.
  7. Tom, When you load up the sim are the displays blank immediately, or do they shut off after some time?
  8. Hi, Dennis, Thanks for updating the thread. You're more than welcome here at the X-Pilot forums, just keep in mind this CRJ section is for X-Aviation.com customers only!
  9. Hi, There, Please post your log.txt after opening the CRJ.
  10. Hi, Tom, As we troubleshoot this further it would be appreciated if you could install the demo version of XP 9 to your computer and try this out. Since we cannot duplicate your issue on this end, the more info we can get from you the better.
  11. Well, folks, it's that time when we get closer to release that we feel it safe to begin showing more previews of this upcoming release! Please take note that these are work in progress screenshots, and any anomalies will be fixed prior to release (like the designated light areas)! Enjoy!

  13. As this question has been answered, this topic is now closed.
  14. See here:
  15. Hi, Tom, Can you update your card to the latest beta drivers from Nvidia and try this, please? There have been known issues with Nvidia drivers in XP 10 (I have the same card). What happens in X-Plane 9?
  16. Hi, Docromano, Can you please share a screenshot of your Resources/Plugins directory? Can you also do the same for: X-Plane/Aircraft/X-Aviation/CRJ-200/Plugins/ ? Thanks!
  17. Enough. Closed until we get a response from Wade. No sense in arguing over silly stuff.
  18. We'll look into this. Philipp and Javier will be taking some interim time off, but it's on the list to investigate.
  19. Hi, Tom, Unfortunately, as has been explained to you, until Wade is willing to provide the debug version XSB to us there is not much more we can do. He has stated he will once he gets the time to do so. Until then, we're at his mercy.
  20. Considering USPS ships flat rate for ~ $4.95 priority with a free box, I'd say that's a bit excessive. Regardless, the USB keys are awesome to have around.
  21. In what way does this crash for you?
  22. I can't speak for your situation, but the manual is correct in that it shouldn't be happening when outside of idle. Go up in flight and see if you can do it again in the pattern. Shouldn't be able to.
  23. Hi, Anthony, The center console contains the ability to arm the thrust reversers automatically upon landing. They will come out when a hard, pronounced "thump" has been had. It sounds like the bumps you had on the runway caused this. This is covered in the manuals as well. Just ensure to disarm this functionality while on the ground if you're going to be departing from such a runway and all should be good.
  24. From Philipp: Docromano: Your report lacks important information: Which STAR are you using and where are you when you try to select which waypoint as a direct-to. Please keep in mind that dependent waypoints may not be used on the DIR-TO page. This is not a limitation I made up, but it is how the real unit works.
