  1. Don't buy it yet. Wait until they release the 1.1 patch that will have compatibility fixes with XP11, otherwise you'll just get frustrated.

  2. Just to give you an idea... About the drag issue, this is an old X-Plane flight model error that we at IXEG discovered and reported way back in september 2010 Basically XP has it's fuselage (body) INDUCED drag wrong (very complicated stuff). We off course fixed it ourself for our 737 XP10 aircraft (which likely is the only one that has this right for XP10 btw). So, now that Austin finally (maybe) fixed it for XP11, the result is our aircraft is off on drag. You can (maybe) imagine how much effort, testing, analyzing and documentation it took us to discover and isolate this error and get it right. So now we need to double-check Austins fix and see if he got it right and possibly tune it back in where it's off. Kind of ironic

  3. This aircraft is compatible to both windows and mac platforms. You just use the installer based on your platform. You can delete osx-installer.app if you are windows based. If you just purchased and installed the aircraft you should have the latest version already 1.0.7. To confirm open xplane and load the ixeg 737, you can check the version you are running on the left side popup menu of the aircraft.

  4. Wish you guys the best of luck porting this over to XP11 and really appreciate you decided to make this upgrade free. This will definitely help bring the 733 to the top in terms of quality. You can really feel the amount of informed hand-tuning and love that went into making it just right. XP11 also has the potential to become the premiere sim platform going forward and as such, the 733 will get prime exposure. We all wish you safety first and foremost. Work can wait.

  5. Tkyler explained in this thread the reason for the long delay, and I can understand that the 737CL is a secondary business, but it is a business none the less. Once you hang out your shingle, and release a product, it's not unreasonable to expect it to be supported. Once you take another persons money for a product or service, the reasons for not having enough time to support the product or service really don't matter to the buyers. So, I can see avantime's point for sure, and I think it's a very valid one. On the other hand, for me, I guess I just don't care that much about it to get worked up. I too came from MSFS, so I didn't realize that the payware world was "different" in X-Plane, to put it politely. I'm still enjoying the 737, and will roll with the punches. Tim

  6. Yeah, you're right, that bottom one is way off. The first one is definitely correct. Maybe IXEG can fix it. Tim
