Hello all,
I used to have the Level2-Fail error which I could solve some weeks ago. So after a while I wanted to fly the IXEG again and it asked me for a reactivation which worked.
Since then I have the same problem again (Level2-Fail) but now also the installer 1.5.1 start anymore.
Does anyone know where the problem is? My antivirus is off course deactivated...
Kind regards
Alex
EDIT: I have solved this, so it can be closed.
Problem solved.
I first checked the reverse axis toebrake boxes; then I calibtrated.
After that, I unchecked the boxes and calibrated again
And the acf rolled.
Thanks for your help
Thanks for letting us know, @Pacifica! Zink is working as an OpenGL bridge, so it isn´t surprising that it might influence the drawing of cockpit symbology... too bad that turning it off will also make the framerate decrease a lot for AMD users.
I will bring this up with Laminar, maybe they can improve Zink to help with this...
Hello Jan,
I have now made 2 more flights with the B737/300 and the FMC works perfectly. For me the solution was to switch off Zink.
Hopefully this will help the other affected pilots too.
By deactivating zink I also have fewer frames on my AMD system. On average only about 25.
Best regards
Sure - it isn´t very prominently featured, I admit.
Go to the "First Flight" Quickstart guide and check page 4 (PREFLIGHT). Here it says:
• Configure your joystick as desired. We recommend that you set X-Plane's stability
augmentation to 0, and the control-response sliders should be at about 25%
Happy flying, Jan
