  1. Thank you for the explanation! I was not aware of this, thought that all commands are always loaded and are selectable. You were right, all the commands are there now after loading the Mooney and I was able to assign commands to the keyboard. G1000 pops out without a bezel. Everything works perfectly now! Best regards TC

  2. Ok, I solved this myself after having read this post: Just recharged the batteries and it all works again.. So don't get confused by failures, just recharge :-)

  4. The truth is that you really can´t tell a -500 apart from a -300 while you sit in the cockpit. Well, there are two things - one is the registration plate pinned to the instrument panel (our -500s had an I or a J as the third letter). The other way to tell is to set flaps to 1 and shove the thrust lever forward on the ground, the -500 will get you the takeoff warning horn. The -400 is actually a bit different, it has stronger engines (you can see the thrust limit on the FMC and also get slightly higher N1s at full power) and a slightly different airconditioning panel. Cheers, Jan

  5. I narrowed down to what causes sound loss. HP Reverb G2 requires both WMR + SteamVR. When WMR is launched, it briefly takes over the default sound device. When this happens while TBM is running, the sound is lost. The work around is simple. Launch WMR BEFORE launching X-Plane 11. Then TBM will not loose sound anymore and toggling between 2D and VR has no negative impact.

  6. Sound is lost when I switch from 2D to VR (WMR/HP Reverb G2) while TBM is already loaded in the sim. This issue is specific to the latest version of TBM (can't replicate this in any other aircraft default Cessna/Zibo/etc or older version of TBM). What is interesting is if I start X-Plane and load TBM in VR from the get go (never in 2D mode) then sound is not lost. This is just initial findings. I will do more experiment and report back.
