  1. Yes, some of the RealSimGear hardware/firmware combinations have this action reversed. Its easy to change by editing the CommandMapping.ini file found in the SR22/22T folders. Look for the GFC700 sections [RealSimGear-GFC700#4] and [RealSimGear-GFC700#6]. Find the commands: ENC_Wheel_UP@sim/cockpit2/autopilot/altitude_mode#4=sim/autopilot/vertical_speed_up ENC_Wheel_UP@sim/cockpit2/autopilot/altitude_mode#5=sim/autopilot/airspeed_down ENC_Wheel_UP@sim/cockpit2/autopilot/altitude_mode#6=sim/autopilot/altitude_up ENC_Wheel_DN@sim/cockpit2/autopilot/altitude_mode#4=sim/autopilot/vertical_speed_down ENC_Wheel_DN@sim/cockpit2/autopilot/altitude_mode#5=sim/autopilot/airspeed_up ENC_Wheel_DN@sim/cockpit2/autopilot/altitude_mode#6=sim/autopilot/altitude_down And change the last values to match what you need to do, ie: ENC_Wheel_UP@sim/cockpit2/autopilot/altitude_mode#4=sim/autopilot/vertical_speed_down ENC_Wheel_UP@sim/cockpit2/autopilot/altitude_mode#5=sim/autopilot/airspeed_down ENC_Wheel_UP@sim/cockpit2/autopilot/altitude_mode#6=sim/autopilot/altitude_up ENC_Wheel_DN@sim/cockpit2/autopilot/altitude_mode#4=sim/autopilot/vertical_speed_up ENC_Wheel_DN@sim/cockpit2/autopilot/altitude_mode#5=sim/autopilot/airspeed_up ENC_Wheel_DN@sim/cockpit2/autopilot/altitude_mode#6=sim/autopilot/altitude_down Save the file, and reload X-Plane

  2. I can confirm the issue - affects the steam gagues, not the electronic versions. Added to bug list. Thanks again, Jan

  3. Hi Torbinator, yes, we are unlikely to do extensive work on the sounds before the conversion. The biggest problem is one of resources, some users are affected more than others, and often those effects are intermittent, too - making them so much more hard to track down. Once the plane is FMOD I will count on you guys to help me catch and iron out any remaining quirks, though! Cheers, Jan

  4. Hi sandpatch - thanks for the report! We recently "fixed" the EGT needle to show the exact same value as the digital display, maybe an error got introduced when that happened. I will verify and add to the list of things to fix. Cheers, Jan

  5. I will reach out to RealSimGear to see if perhaps there is something in their config files.

  6. MTOW: We have put in the highest MTOW we could find good sources on. This so you can simulate any airline you want! The reason MTOW varies with airline has to do with landing fees and not really any physical limit reasons. Higher MTOW, higher landing fees. So airlines want to set their (paper) MTOW as low as possible. A charter airline that flies long sectors, full aircraft, with passengers stacked with luggage will need a higher MTOW on paper than a network company that flies shorter sectors with business pax with hand luggage. So talking about a specific MTOW is not really relevant except for the hard end of the envelope which very few if any airlines actually use in real life (AFAIK). And no we do not know what MTOW each airline uses, it might even be different for different aircraft individuals in each airline... CFM56: We model the -B1 engine as you can see on the FMC CoG envelope: You got that from me. Documentation: Could always be better off course
