  1. Hi all. This COVID thing has affected my employment and sent me in a different direction.....full time back on X-Plane! (note...I work on more than just the 737 though) We are working on the update every day as of late; however, we are still going to wait for some 11.50 stability before we release. In the meantime, we're cleaning up things we feel we can without putting the plane in the hangar with the major renovations like the FMS/holds/VNAV. We are back in the FMS code somewhat though and have made the coroutes loading more robust. We will be including that folder in our update so as to not cause confusion, but we also now support about 6 flight plan formats, X-Plane 10/11 (*.fms), PMDG and Quality Wings (*.rte), X-FMC (*.fpl), FSX (*.pln) and AirbusX (*.flp). Like the real FMS, if a waypoint can't be located because of database incompatibilities with the flight plan, then the FMS loads what it can until encountering such a point and then provides the message, "PARTIAL ROUTE LOADED". I was testing this code with random format downloads from Flight plan database...and nearly all of those flight plans contain out of date data, so getting the FMS to load a full route was a challenge. I had to go in and hand edit the flight plan files to 'up-to-date' data. Once done though, they can be saved through the FMS as before. These coroute. loaders do not load SIDs/STARS, only the enroute portions, which is typical. As time goes on, I'll continue to work on improving the route editing, which will have applicability for the holds and eventual "in air" vnav entries. More to follow as we get closer to our release point. -tkyler

  2. Thanks for the clarification. I tried modifying my upper left hat switch to something like yours, but the result was when I moved any of the modified positions of the hat switch, it activated the Better PushBack plugin: "Tell me where you want to go." So...I'll see how my solution works out....using Plane Command to control the items on the center pedestal.

  3. It should also be noted that running with maximum uncompressed textures offers no benefit at greatly increased memory usage.

  4. JRollon:s Bae Jetstream is a little special when it comes to control assignment. In your case this is fully normal, it is quite bonky to get the settings correctly the first time, hence this aircraft will disable and remove axis assignments when having the the control locks not removed. So, the best way to get everything setup, trying to take from memory (I'm currently using XAssign and it is extremely recommendable): 1. Load up a default aircraft, whichever you want, and assign the axes for throttle, yokes, pedals and toebrakes. Save the configuration to the global XAssign slot. 2. Load up the BAE jetstream 32. 3. Unlock the control locks (left bottom side of copilots seat). 4. Activate the joystick assign button (on the joke menu). 5. Load up the previously saved configuration in XAssign, save it as local in the XAssign menu. 6. Deactivate the joystick assign button (on the joke menu) Hopefully you will have axes assigned now. And remember it is important before closing the aircraft to have the control locks unlocked, I think otherwise the axes will reset after next load. Another important note is that I think while the controls are locked, this aircraft will remove and disable all the axes, and when the control locks are unlocked, the aircraft will remember the assigned axes and implement to the aircraft (hence the aircraft logic will both remove and insert axes assignments while affect the control lock). Test and try, sooner you will hopefully get everything right, and I hope this procedure is the correct one setting everything up. Test and trial.

  5. I tried looking for the program folder. Tried looking in the x-Plane menu. Could not find anything. After your note just now I went back and looked at my plugins folder again, and I saw "SilverLining" and the manual inside of that. I was looking for something called "SkyMaxxPro" before. Anyway... thanks again.

  6. Thanks sqrt(-1), appreciate your directing me to the link, sarcasm notwithstanding. Usually, a manual is downloaded with the program, so I failed to look on the product page. I goofed.
