  1. That said it's something we're definitely interested in improving as much as we can. Stay tuned.

  2. Hello Mike, I had quite the same issue with my Saitek Throttle Quadrant till yesterday. I did some more testing and found some strange behaviour of XP11/IXEG. My setup: Left lever: Speedbrake, Mittle Lever: Thrust Engine 1, Right Lever: Thrust Engine 2. The Saitek has 3 integrated buttons that are active when you push a lever below 0 (Marked in red circle). for these buttons my setup is: Left: "do nothing", Middle: Toggle Reversers, Right: "do nothing". After Landing, I push the two thrust levers beyond 0 to enable toggle thrust reverse and at that point, the autobrake was every time disarmed automatically. Quite strange as I never had this issue on X-Plane 10 with the previous versions of the IXEG. So I did some tests! When I just push the middle lever below 0 it toggles the reversers and autobrake keeps active. If I just push the right lever below 0 to activate the button that is configured in XP11 as "do nothing", the autobrake disarms immediately! THIS IS STRANGE! I tell X-Plane that NOTHING should happen if this button gets active but it disables the autobrake! So I repeated the same test for the left lever. It was also configured to "do nothing". If that button gets active it disables the autobreak as well! I found a way to work around that issue by creating a small FlyWithLua script that creates a command that really does nothing. function do_nothing() -- This function is needed because thrust revers buttons on saitek throttle quadrant -- will disable autobreak if Xp11 "do nothing" is set on them. end create_command("MyStuff/IXEG733/DoNothing", "Do really nothing","do_nothing()","","") After assigning my "DoNothing" command to the two buttons the autobreak works as it should. I do not know If that might help you but maybe you have the same kind of problem with your go flight tq6 throttle. I also cannot tell if that is a bug of XP11 or IXEG... Greetings, Sebastian

  3. No, it shouldn't affect any custom sounds that come from third-party aircraft.

  5. Super, thanks. I will send a link of this thread to Jennifer. I doubt that Laminar will invest much time into solving this - its a classical "draw order" problem of clouds (Ben Supnik loves those!) and when Vulcan comes along, everything is going to change, anyway... Cheers, Jan

  7. It is better to wait longer for a good plane, than to get an unfinished or not so good plane. I love all of your work Michael.

  8. I also find your stupidity intriguing, a hypocrite criticising two developers about their use of profanity, yet in his comments also shows a substantial use of vulgarity. I can swear and deliver strong language wherever I want, when I want and how I want, welcome to the internet. I'm glad you don't attend my school, because if you do you'd be screwed up. And for your reference we are not arrogant, and self-righteous "douche bags", you are perhaps exactly what you describe of us, arrogant because you named yourself "the best painter in X-Plane", self-righteous? oh please, if thats the case I guess everyone in X-Pilot except you is"self righteous", and to quote from Oliver "Good luck my young uneducated friend". This is pathetic, and a really stupid conversation. Michael's intentions to vulgarly reply to Luca's naive comments is purely to make his point firm and if you don't see that, I am sorry but get out. Back on topic please, I am eagerly waiting for the upcoming FSXP 787, its a freeware add-on and its a hobby we do, so obviously its not Michael's top priority to finish this, and there are obviously more important things to be taken care off than completing this.

  10. It is this sort of attitude that prevents authors from creating progress threads. Considering that he is trying to create a great add-on for the community, for free, your attitude is way out of line. But maybe you would like to create a quality 787 model for us all?

  11. Dear Mr. Chang, I am immensely disappointed in you and the entire team behind this project. It has been over two years I have been following this program and I always very happy that every single time that a member asked if this plane would work in v9.70 you would answer that yes it would work in v9.70 even if it was the last program that you and your team would make for v9.70. This made me think that you and your entire team where thinking about people like me who simply can not purchase a computer that can run v10. I am not the only member of the XP community that did not change to v10 for one reason or another, I always thought that you where kind and thinking towards us. Seems like I was wrong, you are just a plane maker like so many out there. I have question for you Mr. Chang, its been well over 2 years you have worked on the B787, so what will a few months more or less make as a difference? Best regards, U2 Fan

  12. Will this plane ever be released, or is it your personal toy which you developed and all we will ever see are your picture flying it?

  14. Atleast we will get to fly this aircraft one day. That thought alone keeps me satisfied and happy. Ask me how it feels to wait for 5 years for an aircraft to be released just to find out at the end that the project has been cancelled. Yes, I am talking about XPJets 777. No offense to xpjets devs. I am sure they wanted the aircraft to see the light of the day as much as we wanted to. So yeah be patient and wait it out. It will be worth the wait.
