  1. Been on the Panam academy for a 737 training session. Landing the 737800NG, weather set to 200 ft overcast and the instructor put a surprise. An aircraft pulling into the runway and required to jump over and land. A LOT OF FUN. Those simulators feels like the real thing. AMAZING No A/P, A/T used, full manual approach down to the runway ILS 04R JFK Hope you like it.

  2. Very nice.. And lucky you.. Last time I was in a full motion 738NG sim (SAS Flight Academy at Gardermoen) was in 2006.. So it would be fun to try it again. If I remember correct we payed 300NOK (about $36) for every 6th minute

  3. Sorry if I come across the wrong way. I'm not annoyed. I'm just sharing the technical realities. It's something I'd definitely like to see fixed but it's a mult layer problem. Being able to write an algorithm that works is easier than writing one that works in ever shrinking time slices. (Where we usually had about 16ms to work with (60fps) we now have a target of about 8ms. (VR...)) Great fun and definitely part of the art of programming for game loops.

  4. It is not exactly "correct"...even if all type of clouds are heavy on fps, with default clouds (or any manipulation of them) you can see clouds all over the horizon and on multiple layers but with less impact than with SMP. With SMP is practically impossible to extend the visual till the horizon. 10000sq is a good value, but is really really close to the aircraft. The trade-off is the visual appearance of the clouds and the distance you want to see them, depends what you like. What also hits a lot are the shadows and the reflections over water.

  5. problem resolved. my thrust was low idle i had to use plane maker to up the values.

  6. Keep the cloud view distance at or bellow 10000 sq km. That's the only way to keep the frames at or above 30 fps, but even then the fps will sometimes dip bellow 30.

  8. Why should my name be Sarah Conor. And i don't believe you won't be finish before 2029, it is insane. you guys have just a lot of time for making this aircraft. Michael Chang use 3-4 year on his aircrafts. You guys have used 5 year, and your are not even near finish with the Boeing 747
