  1. Hi sim/engines/thrust_reverse_toggle is a command, not a dataref. I dont know how xjoymap handle that.

  2. Hate to bump an old thread but just wanted to thank you guys for all the info dropped in here....I have been able to map all the custom IXEG data refs to my TM warthog. Strangely my issue is using the default sim data refs, They work fine when selected in XP11 but when I use the xjoymap binding its a no go. I want to use the xjoymap.ini for each aircraft (placed in each acf folder) so I can always have a unique set for each. example is this: Working fine: [Auto Throttle Toggle] new_command=Auto Throttle Toggle dataref=ixeg/733/MCP/mcp_at_arm_act values = 0,1 Not working [Thrust Reverse] new_command=Thrust Reverse dataref=sim/engines/thrust_reverse_toggle values = 0,1 Am I using the wrong sim dataref, I tried others as well all the same result. Thanks

  3. Can't remember if I posted this earlier or not..but I had the opportunity last month to go pick up our new Ultra from Wichita where it was getting a cargo door installed (don't ask how much that cost). It was also my first chance to play with the GTN750 - what a nice box! It would be nice to see it in the Citation II...(but I can understand why it is not being considered) BeachAV8R

  4. nothing to do with flight model, go try to understand first which external, and internal actions have an impact on wingflex and you will realize it is a function that requires several iterations to calculate the polygons for one specific point in time which again depends on its position and dynamics of a previous point in time. In order to respect material elasticity, weight distributions, dynamic forces etc etc. such models, when used to produce animations for static analysis in engineering as an example, are pre-calculated for given set of conditions and and then injected into a rendering system. we are asking X-Plane to do this job real-time! I am not saying it is impossible to achieve an animation that gives you an impression of a well simulated flex at low performance impact, but it has nothing to do with real wingflex. (Please, don't mention FF again, I cannot consider any of their add-ons comparable with what we are talking about here) There is another question I ask myself though: I still wonder when I would be able to use that animation. The only moment we could really admire it is when we land, i.e in replay mode. On my side, replay is a black box, seems broken... custom animations not working well with almost any plane, IXEG even has the option to deactivate those in replay mode. ...now enough... I am going to fly.. without wingflex!

  5. I don't see how wingflex will meaningfully impact performance in any way.
