  3. I've been watching a lot of movies on Youtube with the theme: Can an amateur land an airliner, or similar (highly unlikely). In the movies, it is predicted that the amateur can get detailed instructions how to do. The first problem I can think of that arises: how to get in touch with someone via the radio? How does he get the frequencies and how does he handles the radio? Then comes many other problems, for instance: the one he comes in contact with must be well wellinformed on just the type of the airplane the amateur sits in. Some comments?

  8. This question is so refreshing you have NO idea. Yeah, it's Michael Wekerle's Porsche 918 Spyder, it was burned down in a fuel accident about a week after this photo, he got a new one a few months ago, in black.

  9. There are a LOT of datarefs in this aircraft. What you could do is open LES_Saab_340A_cockpit.obj, scroll to the bottom and you'll see all the datarefs, commands and manipulators. They all have the names that correspond to what they are assigned to. Give that a try and if you have any problems, post back.

  10. It's been about 2 years since I last flew in X-Plane. With life moving in the fast lane, college classes begining, and starting multiple of my own businesses I unfortunately had lost my time to use X-Plane. Luckily, I decided to find the time to start flying again! Here's a screenshot from tonight's flight! Flew from KMIA to TNCM in an Air France Airbus A319.

  14. Just wanted to show you a set of screenshots from my latest experiments with the Scenery. Essentially, you can see three things here: - increased mesh resolution (and thus, increased landclass accuracy). This makes mountains (but many other places too) even better. Only drawback is, that DSFs are much larger, and 32bit X-Plane chokes on them sometimes (but the 64bit version should "fix" this one day). - tuned forests a little bit (little bit smaller trees, and increased density). - my new, experimental add-on of tree-lines (trees along roads) + farms in USA and Europe (all derived from OpenStreetmap data with a few "little" algorithms). http://picasaweb.google.com/101666907909842492197/XPlane10SceneryExperiments

  15. You're one bitter little child. You must really be displeased with your life. FYI, perhaps your little mind wandered past the description of this thread - "What did you fly today?" No more, no less. Some advice... Stop bitching about every single post I make on this forum and you'll learn to enjoy life quite a bit more.
