  7. Truth be told; I removed another flight sim "don't remember the name ; )" because I haven't used it in over a year, and installed a second copy of XPX to run experiments with, after the install I decided not to run the prompt to update, I added UrbanMaxx v2 3D and Raleigh Scattering ( on a side note, "flywithlue" didn't work initially, I had to copy and paste some files from my original updated XPX flywithlue folder) and as a result and to my surprise the end results are breathtaking. In some aspects XPX 10.10r3 looks better than an updated XPX, will continue testing, comparing and post my results.

  8. Surprisingly! the scenery is the default XPX 10.10r3 without updates, along with Raleigh Scattering and Urban Maxx v2 3D.

  9. Hi Tom, I´d rather answer you here than on youtube :-) The FD usage policy varies from airline to airline. I´d like to venture out and say that the more trust an airline has into the flying ability of it´s pilots, the less stringent the call for use of automatic flight systems is. There are some airlines that won´t even let their pilots use "manual thrust", arguing that the autothrottle is more attentive to the speed situation. How sad is that? Same goes for the autopilot and flight-director. I have seen people pluck themselves into the ground in the simulator with those cross-bars firmly centered. The autopilot is a great tool, and the flight-director can be used to improve your precision, but there are situations were both are inappropriate. The visual part of a non-precision approach is one of those. Jan

  11. Updated text as increase my experience as a program. Hello pilots! I confess I was already short of money, but I had to get this addon, wanted to test the novelty of having clouds moving and you go through them. Great job, it was a great idea, practical and beautiful. This will improve the experience of flying. I need to understand the textures, I hope I can change the textures, as well as anyone. The first impression was, this is amazing, look at these moving clouds and reflections. There is one thing better could be the resolution of the texture pattern of the cloud which is only 64 pixels. Therefore, the edges of clouds are unsatisfactory. I thought it had more cumulus clouds, but only with THIS ONE texture resolution. ANYWAY the look is good. On the issue of performance was very good, looks better than the standard, either with HDR OFF / ON in my system had good performance. I liked the Settings menu options. Below are some screenshots comparing the performance. I hope this helps someone. XP-10 Settings SkyMAXX Pro Settings , gives a good possibility to suit most types of machines . Cirrus HDR OFF Cirrus HDR ON 3/8 Cumulus HDR OFF 3/8 Cumulus HDR ON 6/8 HDR OFF 6/8 HDR ON Beautiful Overcast cumulus - greater loss of FPS 37 FPS Good Overcast Stratus - less loss of FPS 100 FPS Good conclusion: Comparing clouds staticas default, the motion feature and turn leaves more living environment with Skymaxx PRO. I am studying and testing the program, I recommend the program yes, and I expect updates and improvements. NOTE : I hope understood my English translated. Thank you Regards , Sabach .

  13. Hi LES, great plane that you made, it flies very good, but I have noticed a small bug on the cargo version, the hatch opens and it is transparent on the opening, but when I go outside view, the hatch becomes solid, is this a bug? Sorry for my english, not native speaker. Here are some shots.

  14. Maiden voyage out of TTPP in the Challenger 300; one of two new additions to my aircraft hangar. I’ve accumulated some RTH in this aircraft sometimes ago and I must admit, I'm smiling ear to ear again. Only wish it was more in-depth.

  15. Micheal, this is the best implementation of normal maps I have seen, and the first time that the balance between sharpness and scale of the riveting is convincing (IMHO). My only concern would be that the specularity of the rivets still makes them look dome headed (or dimpled) rather than flush. But this is only a minor thing in a project that's progressing in leaps and bounds. Can I ask how many textures you are using for the fuselage?
