Baron 58 from Punta Arenas to Ushuaia...

I've added some regional UK houses, 4 in all, it's amazing how far just 4 models will go, and I'm actually surprised terraced houses worked as well as they did. Also, the zones are working well, as it has quite clearly separated out residential and industrial zones, and knowing this area very well, it also looks very realistic

Well I just have to say something... WHAT AN AMAZING ADDON! What took me so long? I guess I thought 40 was a lot of money... Silly me! Now I don´t have to stick my head in to that pot of mashed potatoes they call clouds i X plane anymore! (where everything goes solid grey) And performance gain? Could not believe that really... But Oh Yes! Not only a few frames... but from 30 to 35-40.

That is amazing... With few objects you can change the overall look. That's what I also recognized with the 'Europe Library'. I'm doing just an update of my OSM sceneries at simheaven.com, as OSM data grew by 20 percent. Hopefully it's the last update doing this way.

We all have our opinions on how things are run both here and there, and I encourage folks to enjoy our hobby as best you possibly can knowing what you know as you form your own opinion. The org certainly serves a purpose, and we're happy to say that X-Pilot does as well. Luckily, you as a user have a choice on where you'd like to visit on a daily basis, be it here, there, or both (and for those of you reprimanded for any reason you at least have other places to visit - I'm in that boat too). Keeping in mind what does or doesn't bother you, please consider what would be "healthier" for you as a choice of where to spend your minutes or hours and make the best of your valuable hobby time. No doubt, we all love X-Plane, and that's a common theme between the org and X-Pilot. It's easy to get fired up over this stuff, but ultimately we should not loose sight of the fact that it's important to enjoy it and the great people in the community that do exist above all. I think, for the most part, people have said all they need to here in this thread and for that reason I'm going to close it in hopes that we can start other healthier and happier discussions about our hobby. John, you are now the greatest person in the X-Plane world. Thank you for all this. It is AMAZING. I also want to add... thank you for doing this. Before this addon, I never realized how bland X-Plane was (and also how poorly it simulated things like tropical sunshine and the contrast in real-life ground colours)... Along with SkyMAXX I think these things should be basically the go-to product that people should buy immediately after purchasing X-Plane.
