  1. I have updated the lines and shadow layers. (the shadow layer wont be present in XP10 in favor of the simulator's dynamic shadow feature.)

  2. Sometimes you gotta make due. Companies/corporations do this; that's why stock photo companies exist.

  3. Because I really like this plane, and thanks to design commonality with the 787 in many areas, it won't be very hard to create it either. At this point, it's mostly just blueprints and photos, but it'll get better eventually

  5. After it being pointed out on the awesome loading system for this free addon I downloaded it to test tonight. Anyway, Love the fact that every time you want to use a different "theme" you have to backup your original texture and load the new in hahahahaha. This stuff is getting so tecnologically advanced I'm not sure my system can handle it. Can't wait to copy and paste Cherrio Sky with the burnt umbre colors, then go back and fire up X-Plane, wait for the I'm sure horrible frame rates to again haunt me and try another "theme" and start all over. I wish there was a plugin that would allow you to do all this and not have to copy and paste every time. Oh wait ! There is ! It's called Sky-MAXX Pro. I wish there was a plugin would help my frame rates, well actually increase them massively so some of my payware poly heavy aircraft and scenery would finally be able to flow. Oh wait ! There is ! It's called Sky-MAXX Pro...I'll load up a video and or review later to be sure.

  6. It seems that Aerosoft has purchased the rights to release this product as freeware for registered users of the Aerosoft forum: http://asn-xp.aerosoft.com/?p=6620 Mathijs Kok writes in the related thread: See: http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/77640-what-is-aerosoft-sky-tools-free/ You need to be registered there to see the thread. I wonder if this is really identical to the AWG project discussed in this thread.

  8. Just a quick question. God rays appear to light objects on the ground, this makes sense. However when the view is away from the sun the rays no longer appear and the ground is no longer lit. Is this intended? It doesn't feel natural. Cheers

  13. Sunday Beaver Update 4 Hi all, Well most of the week was spent with celebrating Christmas and spending time with family. However, the first high quality livery of the regular tire version was finished and you will see it in the screenshots below. Also more progress on external animations and some code. I decided to focus more on 3D and animations right now, and once everything is in place, I will continue with the more technical stuff like flight modeling and coding. Next, you should see some light texturing for the cockpit and interior. So stay tuned and I hope you enjoy the pictures below.

  14. Time for my first attempt God rays are turned off as I can't see any real benefit for the frame rate loss.

  15. Ben, I do not like how you are going about handling this. We are under no obligation to release the emails exchanged between Austin and I, they are confidential. I appreciate you are looking out for the community however I do not appreciate interfering with internal business. We have stole nobodies work. I do not know where that ludicrous idea came from. It is a very bold statement to make especially considering you have not yet used the product. Yes we released a sub-standard Scenery/Terrain: EuropeXP product for X-Plane and it was not a successful as we hoped however we have learned a tough lesson on product and customer management. Everything has been created in-house except for the glacier textures provided by John. You have made a great plugin system for developers to use but your actions do little to inspire confidence in me, especially in this thread.
