  1. Hello, all, This will serve as a formal forum announcement that we have released the version 1.2 update for the Leading Edge Simulations Beechcraft Duchess. All customers who have purchased the Duchess up till now have been sent an e-mail by X-Aviation with complete installation instructions on how to update your product. We have made this a very simple process! For those that purchase the Duchess from today forward, your purchased download will already be updated to version 1.2 for you. What if I didn't get the update e-mail? If you did not receive your update e-mail don't fret! X-Aviation has updated our system to allow all customers to update with ease, regardless of whether you received an e-mail for the update! Here's what to do: 1. Login to your X-Aviation account here: https://www.x-aviati...talog/login.php 2. View your past order history invoice that contains the Duchess purchase on it. 3. At the bottom of the invoice you will find a blue highlighted link to your update that says: "Beechcraft Duchess". The new installer will detect whether this is a new install, or if you already have any Duchess version installed. Depending on your current situation, the installer will run through the appropriate paths with you! Your liveries/downloaded paints will be safe in this process! There are some important fixes and requests implemented in this update. The following is a list of additions/fixes included: - X-Plane 10 Optimized - This includes lights and flight model enhancements. - New installer format to make future upgrades even easier. NOTE: This update still includes an X-Plane 9 version of the Duchess as well, so whether you have X-Plane 9 or 10, this update is for you! As always, thanks for being a customer with X-Aviation. We appreciate your feedback and support! Enjoy these latest updates, and stay tuned to the forum as we continually announce the latest happenings.

  3. Hey, there, Sorry about that! This has been fixed! Simply re-download the installer and all should be good. This was a scripting error with files trying to install that were not present and a bad path name.

  4. Point taken on the magnetic mode Jack The "super system" version will be all new for V2.0 I have to leave something to get paid for in the future but several areas are getting refined for this update. There's no reason I can't do the entire MU2 systems accurately from what I can see, including relays and circuit breakers. Having done the 737 hydraulics and electrics has totally changed my approach to what can be done.....and along the way, we got XP to get out of our way on some critical areas. The best thing that has come from the evolution of coding the MU2 simulation is a refined organization that is scalable. My code has evolved from original MU2 to Falco to refined MU2 (which didn't quite make it in C)...and now with Gizmo, taken lessons from the 737 and the "brick walls" I hit with my previous MU2 code, I think I finally have a system and structure that will work at any level of aircraft simulation with high fidelity. I can't tell you how excited I'm getting...with Gizmo's upcoming features, X-Plane's new access to electrical systems and V10 lights/shadows..there is just about everything available now to make a darn near perfect simulation given enough time. Here's one good reason why I want to go with V10. I've been wanting to do this since 2006!
