Daikan Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 Will this provide sounds of other aircraft than just the user's? 1
JohnMAXX Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 Will this provide sounds of other aircraft than just the user's? Let me get back with you Daikan, I don't fly online so I need to look into this......
boeingornotgoing Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 hey john. this is chris. i helped beta test smp for a while. we messaged on fb too when i had it is beta testing still available for these upcoming products? id be glad to helpstill on mac thanks
Jose Almeida Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 Will this provide sounds of other aircraft than just the user's? I concur that adding other planes' noises would add realism. Even if you don't fly on line, the noise from AI aircraft could be added.
Cameron Posted March 26, 2015 Author Report Posted March 26, 2015 is beta testing still available for these upcoming products? id be glad to help No. Sorry, Chris.
boeingornotgoing Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 No. Sorry, Chris.okie dokie. looking fwd to these!
tonywob Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 Ill take that a suggestion, but logically building a database of the 20,000 or so airports for custom sounds seems a bit too much, plus I doubt users will take the initiative to build those custom sounds.....We do have two sound sets one for large airports and one for small....The ambient noises and aircraft in those are appropriate for each and convincing.... Thanks John. What I meant is if there is a way I could place a sound file inside the airport and SoundMaxx would automatically play it when the user is in the vicinity of the airport. i.e. It would know which airport the user has loaded, scan the airport folder for some sort of file automatically (i.e. A .wav file) and then play it. 1

No guarantees for the first version, but it's worth noting as a very cool feature request and a great way to get the community involved.
joz Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 Please tell us that you replaced that annoying tire skidding sound. If possbile, a teaser. 1
Thywillbedone Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 Please tell us that you replaced that annoying tire skidding sound There is a replacement file at the org which resolves this annoying screeching sound. Just remember not to overwrite it when you update XP.
Njuluu Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 Hello team, That's a great project and i'm very interest by this !I have two questions: 1 - Will it works with the FF 777 of Philipp & Ramzzess (which have custom sounds) ?2 - Will it be possible (potentially) to add or change some sounds with my personal sounds (files .wav) ? Thanks for SoundMaxx (and amazing DC-3 & MU-2)
Cameron Posted March 27, 2015 Author Report Posted March 27, 2015 Hello team, 1 - Will it works with the FF 777 of Philipp & Ramzzess (which have custom sounds) ? It will not interfere. 2 - Will it be possible (potentially) to add or change some sounds with my personal sounds (files .wav) ? It's not intended for you to do this. 1
Icosphere Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 Woah! This "sounds" great!! *excuse the pun 1
steve31000 Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 Sound as a pound. Sorry couldn't resist
Tom Knudsen Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 Why are you asking Tom? Just want to make sure to take the correct angle.... Just making sure I do not buy shit again
tonywob Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 Just making sure I do not buy shit again LOL, you like to keep it blunt don't you Tom :-)
JohnMAXX Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 Tom you are an asset to our community....Thanks for sharing your thoughts... 1
Cameron Posted March 27, 2015 Author Report Posted March 27, 2015 Just making sure I do not buy shit again To be clear, what previous purchase of yours are you insinuating was "sh*t"?
JohnMAXX Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 Oh boy Cam you just opened pandoras box...Innovating and pushing the envelope is apparently shit....
Tom Knudsen Posted March 28, 2015 Report Posted March 28, 2015 (edited) To be clear, what previous purchase of yours are you insinuating was "sh*t"? This one http://secure.simmarket.com/perfect-flight-fs-sound-environment.phtml Innovating and pushing the envelope is apparently shit.... Don't flatter yourself my dear friend, no offence intended your way, was just qurious to know if you would hear the environment sounds from the cockpitReason, as it isn't very realistic in my mind to hear bird, ocean and or wind sound when the engine is running and one are in a closed enivronment. For those that have tried ORBX nature flow or some shit like that, they would now. One of many reasons for moving to X-Plane. So yea, now I am not trying to buy shit and by asking in advanced I've been saved many of times. Edited March 28, 2015 by Tom Knudsen 1
boeingornotgoing Posted March 28, 2015 Report Posted March 28, 2015 if possible, when you have a moment can you post a video demonstrating the cabin and or airport ambient sounds please?
zxp10 Posted March 28, 2015 Report Posted March 28, 2015 Is there a chance to add some ButtKicker support in the future? Thx.
sundog Posted March 28, 2015 Report Posted March 28, 2015 Outdoor ambient sounds are only heard from outdoor views, Tom. We did think of that. 3
