BWolf7 Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 Which aircraft are you plan to release after the Saab? I realy realy looking forward to fly the 747 Probably the Citation, but I am not 100% sure. Quote
Cameron Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 Yea, but they started devloping in 2010.. so maybe... huh Any products released from this day forward will lack X-Plane 9 support. It's as simple as that. 3 Quote
Nicola_M Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 (edited) Yea, but they started devloping in 2010.. so maybe... huh"Started in 2010" is nothing. They've been doing the Saab 340 in that time, and planes take years (not months) from drawing board to release date.As end-users, it's easy to forget that. It's not all doom and gloom, though. Guy M-P has been saying he's determined his DH Comet will be xp9 compatible. Wooo hoooo! http://forums.x-pilot.com/topic/2164-de-havilland-comet-4c/ Edited September 7, 2013 by Nicola_M 1 Quote
mtaxp Posted October 17, 2013 Report Posted October 17, 2013 (edited) WOW stunning! I've really been waiting for 744 inn XP10,looking forward to this.Could you please tell us what part this project is taking in your development? I mean is it still pretty slow or its taking more acceleration? Edited October 17, 2013 by mtaxp Quote
Goran_M Posted October 17, 2013 Author Report Posted October 17, 2013 Won't be done for a while. We're looking at near 100% systems simulation, and that takes time. 4 Quote
Liner45 Posted October 17, 2013 Report Posted October 17, 2013 (edited) i would suggest the a380 but it might be more complex and more workor a340-600 which i have dreamed of Edited October 17, 2013 by SloshyPage23 Quote
Goran_M Posted October 17, 2013 Author Report Posted October 17, 2013 Airbus aircraft are waaaaay more complex than Boeing. I have AOM's, FCOM's and QRH's of the 747-200/400, A330 and A380. There's a lot more involved in an A380. At least to the level WE want to make it. From what I have seen, there is no airbus available that comes remotely close to a study level airbus. That might change when FSLabs get their Airbus out, but they've been working on that since 2010...and for a very good reason. 2 Quote

ktomais Posted October 18, 2013 Report Posted October 18, 2013 (edited) Peter Hager's a32x and a380s are almost study level....however I personally think they're ridiculously priced...especially the one plane-one livery thing... It’s not only that, for my tastes at least it’s not the full package. As I see it all products should be holistic in their approach, it should be the best of both worlds. Great visuals, great systems. Much like the Saab and the upcoming 737. Peter’s Airbuses unfortunately lack severely on the visual/animation part, yes the model looks like the real plane, but it’s extremely static, with zero animations besides the essentials (flaps going down etc), texture looks weird and it’s not very polished. Flight characteristics on the other hand are very good, and so are systems. But it’s not complete, it’s not a great product. That being said, I own Peter’s A321 and I can strongly recommend it to people interested only in systems/flight model. Edited October 18, 2013 by ktomais Quote

Peter himself has told me that it is not at, or close to "study level". He hopes to keep updating though. I know what systems are modeled and what systems are not modeled, but we'll just leave it there as I don't want to appear to cast a negative light on another developers products. If people enjoy it, that's the important thing. 2 Quote

twinottersbh Posted October 21, 2013 Report Posted October 21, 2013 Please make a 747SP while you are at the 742. At least make a good 3D model so there will be a decent one available. It doesn't have to be study level... Quote
JGregory Posted January 15, 2014 Report Posted January 15, 2014 Can we get a uppdate, please This project will be following several others. We have nothing to report. Quote
UA90 Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Just the look of this plane is already better than the default 747 in XP10 in my opinion. Quote
FSSteven Posted November 14, 2014 Report Posted November 14, 2014 Hello development team, Is the development of the 747-400 still a live? What is the status or are there WIP screenshots/updates? Looks great for now! =) Quote
Goran_M Posted November 14, 2014 Author Report Posted November 14, 2014 Still alive, just sleeping for now while we work on "other things". We're not rushing this one, by any means. It WAS going to be a Lite product, but we've since changed our workflow and we are only interested in making procedure level add ons. So this one may take a little while. 2 Quote
