BWolf7 Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 I'm ready for the SAAB now! What part of the world do Cameron and the rest of the team live on and what time do they generally get up so I can be ready? Pretty sure they are on EST.
andydckent Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 (edited) Pretty sure they are on EST. Hmm perhaps they are having a well deserved sleep in. If they can have it ready for when I'm home from work just after I've had my tea that would be great! Edited September 11, 2013 by andydckent
Mario Donick Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 <reason> Better wait some hours or a day more than having an unfinished product because they needed to rush. </reason><emotion> Now give me that plane! </emotion><reason> ..... ad infinitum.
Rexxxy77 Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 Ben you make that sound so spooky
Ben Russell Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 If you have trouble activating a product we know.
BWolf7 Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 I must say, I am kind of disappointed that the Saab didn't make the "last night or this morning" release. I am still assuming there is a release for today, correct? Hopefully just a few *long* hours
Cameron Posted September 11, 2013 Author Report Posted September 11, 2013 I must say, I am kind of disappointed that the Saab didn't make the "last night or this morning" release. You're giving us a really good case as to why we traditionally give you guys almost NO info on release dates. Let this comment be an example. I am still assuming there is a release for today, correct? Who started this whole "today" thing, anyhow? I haven't seen any of our own people make such a comment, so just curious. We've been pretty good about making this form of info available to you. 2
BWolf7 Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 Who started this whole "today" thing, anyhow?Sorry Cameron, I misunderstood the first post. Assumed that (tonight, tomorrow morning, whatever) meant today. 2
PWJT8D Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 A watched pot never boils. Patience is a virtue. Everything comes to those who wait. Rome wasn't built in a day. We must learn to walk before we can run. I'm quite sure that there is no slacking off going on right now on the X-Aviation and LES side of the computer monitor. Every bit of information about an aircraft release should be taken with a grain of salt. After all it is just an estimation. I know that Cameron and the group want nothing more then to get us all the Saab as quickly as they can. If it's not on the front page with a big for sale sign on it, then it must not be done. Simple as that.
starflight Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 Surely everyone eagerly awaiting this, has had to wait a bit longer than expected in the terminal as ground staff finish fixing up the plane for flight? At least LES won't be replacing the co-pilot's chair, which was the explanation for the delay they announced on my last time out
ss8913 Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 EST... aren't there multiple timezones with this abbreviation? In the USA, EST = "Eastern Standard Time" (which is only used during the winter months), but I believe it's also a european(?) timezone as well...?

BWolf7 Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 (edited) Sorry.... too complicated for me :/ Edited September 12, 2013 by BWolf7
ss8913 Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 EDT = GMT-0400PDT = GMT-0700 EST = GMT-0500PST = GMT-0800 there 1
Ben Russell Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 I live in the EST time zone. The Australian EST time zone.... GMT+10 (or 11 during summer, daylight savings...) Now if only we had a Zulu offset for seasonal references... "_________ shipping at the end of Fall" is one of my pet hates.
