Airbus Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 Hey 152 pilots! Now that the Archer is moving along quite nicely, updates on the nearly two year old model have begun. Pretty much everything visually will be remodeled. In addition, this new model will make use of X-Plane 10's new lighting system! The 3D model will be a more accurate reflection of the actual aircraft! 2 Quote
Phantom88 Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 Will you include a pilot/or co-pilot in outside view?Thank You Quote
C47 Posted September 10, 2012 Report Posted September 10, 2012 Hi,I've received the x-aviation newsletter and is reported that the C152 is already compatible with X-plane 10, so in what consist the update? Only in lights system, or profiles, texturing, modelling etc?thanks!G Quote

C47 Posted September 10, 2012 Report Posted September 10, 2012 There has not been any update released and the newsletter does not indicate any update has been released aside from one in production.I mean the old version is already compatible, X-A newsletter says: The 4Forces C152 is hailed as the best flight model of its type! A fun trainer, and works with X-Plane 9 and 10! Quote
Cameron Posted September 10, 2012 Report Posted September 10, 2012 That is correct. The current version has and does open, work, and fly in X-Plane 10. Quote
Kieran Posted September 11, 2012 Report Posted September 11, 2012 I think C47 was asking what is going to be in the update("Only in lights system, or profiles, texturing, modelling etc?"), as it already works in XP10. Quote
Cameron Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 I think C47 was asking what is going to be in the update("Only in lights system, or profiles, texturing, modelling etc?"), as it already works in XP10.You are so right, Kieran! Somehow I misinterpreted this, but reading it over I realize I was wrong. Thanks for pointing it out! C47, the update is a complete re-model of the 3D parts to the aircraft! Quote
Airbus Posted October 12, 2012 Author Report Posted October 12, 2012 Here are a couple of shots of the 152; not too much to talk about now. Progress is slow to make way for another project I'm involved with. More news soon! 3 Quote
willhoppy Posted January 23, 2013 Report Posted January 23, 2013 Great pics Airbus, when do you expect it to be complete? Quote
Airbus Posted January 24, 2013 Author Report Posted January 24, 2013 Hey Will.I would give it a couple of months after the Archer release. But; that time span varies depending on other factors. Quote

JimC Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Looks great. Will this be available in v.9.70? Jim Quote
Airbus Posted May 25, 2013 Author Report Posted May 25, 2013 Looks great. Will this be available in v.9.70? Jim Not likely; since this version will take advantage of XP10's new aircraft features. Only time will tell. 5 Quote
JimC Posted May 31, 2013 Report Posted May 31, 2013 Looks like I won't be able to 'fly' much longer. Eventually, people will be developingfor v. 10 only, in which case I'll be out of the running until I can afford to get a decentcomputer (which I don't see happening very soon). When it's over it's over, I guess. Thanks for the reply. Jim Quote
hobofat Posted May 31, 2013 Report Posted May 31, 2013 Looks like I won't be able to 'fly' much longer. Can I get you anything to go with your melodrama? Of course you'll still be able to 'fly'. Just not with aircraft developed only for v.10. It's not like everything you're flying now will suddenly vanish into thin air. 2 Quote
glasscockpits Posted May 31, 2013 Report Posted May 31, 2013 Eventually, people will be developingfor v. 10 only I certainly hope so! His 152 worked fine in X-Plane 9, time to move on. Quote
