tkyler
So after some nagging...I got the guys to implement a "flashlight" feature for cold and dark starts at night where you need to find switches. When I was flying in the MU2, we'd always fly at night and basically break out the flashlight as soon as we crawled inside....makes sense to do it in XP. We have both red and white versions. It's pretty cool! Kudos to Ben and Chris Serio....those guys are something else!https://dl.dropbox.c.../Baron_58_1.movTom KylerLaminar/IXEG Edited July 30, 2012 by tkyler

Simmo W
Nice Tom. Now talk Nils & any other heli devs to add a damn big controllable searchlight to their craft and it'll be even more fun at night!

Phantom88
Hello,Does anyone know The key command to get the flashlight to work? Thank You
Jakob Ludwig
You can assign a button or key command via the Joystick and Keys dialog.

I am on the road at the moment, so unable to have a look in the sim. But I know that it can be assigned. Either in white or red tone...

Phantom88
Found answer on Avsim forums..... James Britnell, on 14 Feb 2014 - 11:14 PM, said:Hi Ryan, You can find the Flashlight command under the Buttons.Adv menu - view/ sub menu and is called flashlight_wht. If you would like to assign a Key to this command, go into the Keys menu and hit the "Add New Key Assignment" button. Then select the view submenu above, then select the flashlight_wht command. You should see the new Keyboard assignment in the box at the left. Of course, you then need to assign the desired key to the command. Hope this helps.
