Wow! Compared to Jim I feel like a lightweight at 412gb. I admit to a lot of extra stuff in my X-Plane folder, like paint files and such. Without all the extra stuff I'm sure it would be well under 200gb.

You may still be able to buy a USB key for V9.7 directly from Laminar. Contact them through the support address at x-plane.com. I assume you can install X-Plane to a USB jump drive if you have one large enough. I have my X-Plane installs on external SSD drives. You'll still need to use either a disc image of Disc 1 or use the USB key you purchase from X-Plane.

Can you be more specific? Your description of your problem is like telling an auto mechanic that you can't seem to get your car to drive even though you put gas in it. I suppose it could be some kind of incapability issue with the older version of X-Plane. You should definitely update your X-Plane. Current version is 10.40RC2. Your installation is a bit outdated and the 777 may be built for later versions.

Your X-Plane crash log is of little use. You need to ATTACH, not copy and paste, your Log.txt file using the More Reply Options button below the Reply box. The Log.txt tells us what's going on with your X-Plane installation and is much more useful in determining issues you may have.

This is most definitely a case of an "english as a second language" speaker trying explain and not knowing how to say what he really needs to say. sam13, you have been asked repeatedly to ATTACH your Log.txt file. We can't really help you until you ATTACH your Log.txt file. The Log.txt file is created by X-Plane every time you startup X-Plane and it is saved when you shut down X-Plane. It is located in the base X-Plane folder. Use the "More Reply Options" box below the "Reply to this topic" window to ATTACH your Log.txt and I bet we can figure out the problem. The things you've said you've done to your VRAM make no sense at all. Maybe you should make a post in your native tongue and we'll use google translate to figure out what you're really trying to say.

Can't help you without the log.txt at this point. I've been flying X-Plane on Mac since V8 with no problems. We need more concrete information to be able to help you resolve your issues.

ATTACH your complete log.txt file by using the More Replay Options below the reply box. As Ben says, don't just cut and paste portions of the log.txt. That doesn't help much.

As always, ATTACH your log.txt that was generated after you experience a crash. If you want to know precisely what caused the crash, just look at your log.txt. It will almost always direct you to the problem. As Ben infers, you have a problem with your OpenSceneryX folder. Without seeing your log.txt, I would suggest downloading a fresh copy of OpenSceneryX and replacing the one you have now. Better yet, get rid of your YMML custom scenery. Replace it with a good copy of YMML.

Was that log.txt generated after an X-Plane session during which the problem occurred? Also, can you explain the issue in different terms? I'm not really sure what you are describing. Screenshots would be helpful at this point, too.
