buffewo Posted Saturday at 06:12 PM Report Posted Saturday at 06:12 PM Just loaded the 525 but the aircraft has no landing gear and none of the switches work. Have installed twice with same result. What am I doing wrong? Quote
Willythepil0t Posted Saturday at 07:40 PM Report Posted Saturday at 07:40 PM Have this same issue. I am thinking this has something to do with it... Windows defender is detecting the cj plugin as a trojan? Quote
Willythepil0t Posted Saturday at 07:52 PM Report Posted Saturday at 07:52 PM Just spoke with support. This is a false positive and is good for install. Plane works perfect after restoring the file Quote
364sim Posted Saturday at 08:03 PM Report Posted Saturday at 08:03 PM Good day, I just purchase the aircraft and it looks good. I do not see landing gear from the outside and the panel, sounds, and drop down menu are not working. Please advise in I'm doing something wrong. Thanks Log.txt Quote
Coop Posted Saturday at 08:22 PM Report Posted Saturday at 08:22 PM The main citation plugin (cj_systems.xpl) isn't being found or loaded by X-Plane. This likely is due to antivirus on your system flagging it false-positive and removing/quarantining the plugin. Check with what you have installed (Windows Defender, etc.) to ensure it's whitelisted. 1 Quote
buffewo Posted Saturday at 08:32 PM Author Report Posted Saturday at 08:32 PM Works here too. Thanks Quote

Hello. I am having the same issue. I whitelisted this file but still can't see the landing gear and the menus don't work correctly. Windows defender hasn't flagged any files as a virus so I'm not sure what to try next. Quote

In order to debug what is going on, we will need you to send us a copy of the X-Plane log.txt file. You can find a guide to get this file here: How to find the X-Plane log.txt file? Quote

I just tried a fresh install of the aircraft and verified that file is still whitelisted with no luck. Thanks! Log.txt Quote

Log.txt 434.48 kB · 0 downloads Looks like something is blocking the network for the plane to validate itself. We've seen gndhandling be a problem before, can you try temporarily removing: C:\X-Plane 12/Resources/plugins/GndHandling/win.xpl Quote

Or will I just need to remember to remove that plugin when flying this plane? Quote

There are some things I want to see if I can change on our end so that plugin doesn't break it, but unfortunately not anything you can do; that plugin blocks our curl instance from loading to access the network. 1 Quote
VirtualAviator Posted Sunday at 02:16 AM Report Posted Sunday at 02:16 AM I am spooling in with no gear. The suggestions in the link below don't appear to apply to my situation. https://forums.x-pilot.com/forums/topic/31849-cessna-525-no-landing-gear-or-operative-switches/ The aircraft really looks cool hubbering though. Pils Posted Sunday at 03:33 AM Report Posted Sunday at 03:33 AM I think you're missing the new X-Aviation DRM plugin, probably it got blocked by Anti-Malware during installation. Or you disabled it with X-Organizer. Quote
Coop Posted Sunday at 06:07 AM Report Posted Sunday at 06:07 AM Yes, it appears that is the case. If you are running X-Organizer make sure "X-Aviation" isn't blocked from being loaded. Otherwise, check with whatever antivirus system you are running (Windows defender, etc.) to whitelist / remove from quarantine the X-Aviation.xpl plugin. Quote
SirOTheOne Posted Sunday at 01:11 PM Report Posted Sunday at 01:11 PM Hi, as users already wrote before - landing gear is not shown and no function on menu item. All items/paths are on the whitelist but no changement to the issue above. Other x-Aviation planes are working well with gizmo and/or x-aviation plugin. please check my log-file to find the issueLog.txt Quote

Log.txt 290.84 kB · 2 downloads Your Ubuntu version is too old. You are on Ubuntu 22.04, whereas the C525 requires Ubuntu 24.04 or later. Ubuntu 22.04 sadly lacks some required functionality, so the way forward I would recommend here is to upgrade to Ubuntu 24.04. 1 Quote
VirtualAviator Posted Sunday at 07:51 PM Report Posted Sunday at 07:51 PM (edited) OMG. I'm loving this aircraft. The landing gear issue in my case was 3-fold. 1) X-Organizer app was disabling the X-Aviation plugin. 2) MalwareBytes was putting a plugin flie in quarantine, and; 3) I did not see my gear until I disabled the original Gizmo Plugin. Hope this helps someone. Edited Sunday at 07:53 PM by VirtualAviator Clarity 1 Quote
