Jack Skieczius Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 oh nice, thanks for letting me know, all i could see was the second number when in full screen mode with the images.i get similar on my q400. very nice.are you using any ATTR_Shine_rat in the object files? i noticed some people dont put that in there and some do. WombatBoy Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 It's hard to tell whether or not he's using the shiny or not because it's rather dark in those pictures (which are beautiful by the way). However, my guess would be no, he's not, but I'll leave it up Goran to tell us for sure.I'm looking forward to this one! Quote
-TheoGregory Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 No there isnt at the moment. That shine of the horizon was done using textures. As we don't currently have the ability to add dynamic reflection's onto the aircraft. *Crosses fingers XP10 will have that feature* Quote
dan Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 Excellent model and paint scheme, hats of to you guys! My only concern, and excuse my ignorance, is that there seems to be no glass in those windshield frames... Must be pretty airy flying this plane Quote

My only concern, and excuse my ignorance, is that there seems to be no glass in those windshield frames... Must be pretty airy flying this plane We wanted cheap air conditioning.Actually, Theo is refining the windows that Reuben made. We can't add them yet as that would mean adding a mesh that is a solid surface that has not been made transparent. Flying blind seems a little bit dangerous. When we're happy with how the windows look, we'll throw up a few more screenshots. Quote
Maxime Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 What liveries will you have for the Saab? ???Still looking good!!!! Good one Goran!! "We wanted cheap air conditioning." Maxime Quote
-TheoGregory Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 This Aircraft will ship withDefinitely:Air RarotongaRegional Express AirlinesSprint AirNext JetMaybe:Pacific Coastal (It largely depends if I or the requester can get there hands on a decent sized picture of the logo as the ones I have at the moment are to small. They also have different logo's for their tail if I'm not mistaken?Maybe one more livery if I find it won't take too much time to add.Not a lot of airlines own the A variant but when the B comes out, We will paint American Eagle Continetal US Airways British Airways Etc. Cheers, Theo Quote
Kiedels Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 I don't know if this is the same type of Saab 340, but if it is could you maybe try to make an Continental Connection livery? alexgeo Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 +1 on the PennAir paint. I was looking forward to this one. Quote
Goran_M Posted March 23, 2010 Author Report Posted March 23, 2010 Everything on the Pennair is very easy EXCEPT the animals. We can't really find a decent high res image of a Pennair animal. Sure, we can find a hi res image of an average animal but it's not the same. So, if you guys can find a Pennair animal, no problem. We've looked and so far no luck.On the other hand, we can make a non animal Pennair.Goran Quote
P-38 Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 Non animal paint would be fine with me. Quote
Kaphias Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 Only one "n" by the way. Penair. :-XCan't wait to get it out and start flying out in rural AK. Quote
alexgeo Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 Ughhh...you Alaskans.................have to make everything so complicated! Quote
Goran_M Posted March 24, 2010 Author Report Posted March 24, 2010 Repaint list so far:Definites:-Air RarotongaRegional Express AirlinesSprint AirNext JetPenairNorthwestUnited ExpressA repaint kit will be made available very soon as a separate download.Also...price.After thinking long and hard about this, I have come up with a fair and reasonable price. I don't want to really come out and say what the exact $ amount is that we have in mind, but what I will say is the Saab 340A will be less than $30.I'm still deciding what kind of pricing system I am going to implement for the B variant. Whether it will be a whole new add on or a simple upgrade to the A variant remains to be decided upon. It won't be a quick upgrade as there has been talk of a custom FMC which requires programming and that will not be something we can push out quickly. If there are any questions about any of this, please feel free to post them in the forums as opposed to sending them to me directly.CheersGoran Quote

Goran_M Posted March 24, 2010 Author Report Posted March 24, 2010 awwww, ok. If Theo agrees to texture it, I guess I could finish that one up. Quote
Maxime Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 Goran, I've been wondering if you would have the time to make a a330-200. Just the cockpit and maybe one part of the interior (First class). Thanks again,Maxime Quote
-TheoGregory Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 Oh gosh Maxime. Thats just one big programming nightmare. I'm sure you can expect one to be out within a year or so but it won't be by Leading Edge Simulation. Goran's and my project list is set (sort of) in concrete so far and although i'm not allowed to tell whats up coming, we know the majority of you will like it more than a A330 (we sure do, less programming!) Cheers, Theo Quote

Cameron Posted March 26, 2010 Report Posted March 26, 2010 Look here for a great A330 and an A340: http://petersaircraft.com/I don't think Peter's aircraft have 3D panels and interiors like Maxime is asking for, do they?I've heard a lot of good things about Peter's work though. Quote
LionKing Posted March 26, 2010 Report Posted March 26, 2010 Goran, what about Crossair repaint for Saab? Quote
Goran_M Posted March 27, 2010 Author Report Posted March 27, 2010 Goran, what about Crossair repaint for Saab?Looks simple enough. It's a pretty full plate of repaints we have at the moment but I'll talk to Theo and see what he can come up with. If it doesn't ship with the original package, it'll most likely be made soon after we get the original package out the door. Goran Quote
