Debowing Posted August 11, 2022 Report Posted August 11, 2022 (edited) I have no moving throttle bars since the update using the X52 joystick and the application of throttle is unresponsive. Asigning the normal 'throttle' axis to throttle is unresponsive. Edited August 11, 2022 by Debowing Quote
DGG Posted August 11, 2022 Report Posted August 11, 2022 Experiencing the same problem, but it started with v2.01. Throttles (VirtualFly TQ6+) worked as expected with v2.00 but now don't function in the aircraft. In addition, if I kick off the sim with the engines started, moving the throttles sends the engine instruments into wild gyrations. Throttles function properly in the joystick set-up page, but not in the airplane in the sim. Quote
tkyler Posted August 11, 2022 Report Posted August 11, 2022 Please post hardware axis settings, GUI prefs and response curves if still having issues. All 3 of these config areas affect the throttle behavior. TK Quote

Debowing Posted August 12, 2022 Author Report Posted August 12, 2022 (edited) All other aircraft have the throttle moving, in the MU-2 the throttle is unresponsive. Furthermore the 2 blue fuel cut off levers are also unresponsive Edited August 12, 2022 by Debowing Quote

Debowing Posted August 14, 2022 Author Report Posted August 14, 2022 (edited) RTFM I guess,,well another little problem, I assign the condition lever operation but only the Lift function works... Edited August 14, 2022 by Debowing Quote
Debowing Posted August 14, 2022 Author Report Posted August 14, 2022 Okay so i arranged the condition levers as well, everything is as per the manual, the engines rotate but the fuel never gets introduced. Quote
Ch.Cole Posted August 15, 2022 Report Posted August 15, 2022 Main fuel Valves opened? RCS switches on Run? Quote
Debowing Posted August 15, 2022 Author Report Posted August 15, 2022 (edited) Yes and yes... Engine turns propeller turns whine is heard...no ignition Edited August 15, 2022 by Debowing Quote
Ch.Cole Posted August 15, 2022 Report Posted August 15, 2022 Inverter on? Condition Levers seem a bit low (set them to taxi, maybe? Fuel Pressure? Quote
Debowing Posted August 15, 2022 Author Report Posted August 15, 2022 Yes inverter is set to MAIN Condition Levers set at TAXI Fuel Pressure does not exceed 40 PSI Aircraft does start using the default X-plane auto start menu...but that isn't the way I want to go. Quote
Bulva Posted August 15, 2022 Report Posted August 15, 2022 Don't forget to remove the engine intake covers. 1 Quote
tkyler Posted August 15, 2022 Report Posted August 15, 2022 (edited) engine RPMs over 10%? 10% is the lightoff point and depending on the battery load or if you've attempted a previous start, the engines take a bit to get to the 10% point. This is one of the reasons I put the "charge batteries" preference in the GUI. For troubleshooting, consider hitting that button in the GUI to get maximum battery performance to get the engine over 10% as quick as possible. TK Edited August 15, 2022 by tkyler Quote
Debowing Posted August 16, 2022 Author Report Posted August 16, 2022 Hi, yes the RPMS are above 10% sometimes up to 30%. Yes I have charged the batteries to be 98-100% The screenshot shows how the status is after pressing the start button for about 60 secs or so. Quote
Ch.Cole Posted August 16, 2022 Report Posted August 16, 2022 Intake covers removed via setting window? Quote
tkyler Posted August 17, 2022 Report Posted August 17, 2022 (edited) your ignition switches are set to OFF in the above screenshot, those need to be in AUTO at least. Edited August 17, 2022 by tkyler Quote
Debowing Posted August 17, 2022 Author Report Posted August 17, 2022 This is a screenshot with the ignition switches in AUTO...This is as far as it would go, rotation, but no ignition. Quote
Ch.Cole Posted August 17, 2022 Report Posted August 17, 2022 Are your generators on? They should be off, I think. Quote

tkyler Posted August 17, 2022 Report Posted August 17, 2022 First Question....does the engine start when you use the mouse cursor to press the start button virtually? Second Question....do you use a hardware button to engage the starter? If so, what command have you mapped those buttons to? Finally, In the X-Plane "Data Output" section, search on "Mixture Setting" and output that to the screen with the "Show in Cockpit' checkbox. Same thing for "Igniter on/off" I'd like to see those two values during the engine start sequence, preferably while you're holding the starter button. TK Quote
Debowing Posted August 17, 2022 Author Report Posted August 17, 2022 (edited) 1. Yes I use the mouse 2. No, I do not. 3. the mixture shows 0 and the igniter 1 Edited August 17, 2022 by Debowing Quote
