castella Posted February 26, 2022 Report Posted February 26, 2022 When I select the hud, it gets displayed but it's not centered on the winshield. Its displayed further down; not usable. I can't seem to get this corrected. Quote
Featured Comment Goran_M Posted February 27, 2022 Featured Comment Report Posted February 27, 2022 Definitely the seat position. Make sure you use the alignment indicators on the centre pillar. The orange one should completely cover the white one behind it. Also, for best results, set your field of view to 80-90. Quote
castella Posted February 28, 2022 Author Report Posted February 28, 2022 How do you set the seat position? I see the alignment indicators on the center pillar. One on the left is orange. the one on the right has white on top of orange. doesn't look like you can change this. Field of view is 90. I'm running in non persistance mode. Quote
castella Posted February 28, 2022 Author Report Posted February 28, 2022 i found knobs near the parking brake but when i hover over them, i cannot adjust anything. Quote
Pils Posted February 28, 2022 Report Posted February 28, 2022 They mean just move your camera position. The eye alignment indicators are there to assist, they don’t move to you, you move to them. Quote
castella Posted February 28, 2022 Author Report Posted February 28, 2022 I tried the above but i still don't get the hud to work. i also tried disabling x-camera but no luck. The display is showing up in the lower left of the cockpit. Quote

Look at the two balls on the right side of the eye height tool, they should be completely superimposed, not offset like they are. Quote

However, I see the rendering issue now also. @castella I couldn’t help but notice the performance is abysmal according to X-Plane, what hardware are you running on? Quote
Goran_M Posted February 28, 2022 Report Posted February 28, 2022 Can you also post a log.txt file? I would like to get a look at the plugins you are running. Quote

I would also say it could be contributing to nothing showing on the HUD if you can't see anything rendered when moving around. Either way, this hardware is not in any way suited for this product.
